Looking for (comprehensive) official FFXI lore for a webcomic

Greetings - I wasn't sure whether this is the right section to post in, but here goes:

I'm trying to collect as much official FFXI lore (mostly regarding the history of cities and areas) as possible for my long-term FFXI webcomic project. I'd like to have it to avoid any inconsistencies, as I was planning to eventually delve deeper into the history of particular areas within the comic.

I've done some research of my own, via Google and forum digging, but so far I pretty much only have FFXIclopedia, BGWiki, FFWikia, Allakhazam, the Vana'diel Tribune and various forum posts to rely on - each containing only tidbits and fragments.
A few years back, I remember often visiting a website dedicated to FFXI Lore with very comprehensive stories, which I very much enjoyed reading, but it seems it has been lost to the ages, and thus, I need to find some other source. Elmerthepointy's posts and website seem to have shared the same fate, as most of it seems to be inaccessible.
Therefore, I wonder whether anyone still has any website links or personal collections of (I must stress this) official lore of Final Fantasy XI?

Also, I've recently downloaded the EWH to view areas as a drawing reference, but I'm unable to get it to work, despite following instructions provided in the readme and on other websites. Could anybody offer me some advice or an alternative?

Big thanks in advance for any replies!

http://www.bluegartr.com/forums/74-F...and-Interviews would be at least a start, I've never bothered with that section so idk how comprehensive it is.

Thanks, but I've already checked out that section, and unfortunatey, many of the posts seem to have been lost due to a server transfer or something.

Those links are pretty useful, thanks! If anybody has anything similar to what Elmer The Pointy posted about The Second Battle of Konschtat, it'd be very useful, as well.
