I just checked now for the first time since last night when I got the message, and I'm still getting it too, read this thread earlier on my phone with no issue but as soon as I clicked on links to get into IAS, the warning popped up again.

In what, 2 months? How long do they upload caches?
Will take at least a few days to be declared "clean" by Google.
The lesson here is that these systems are retarded, and you may as well just disable the warnings. Flagging a site because it links to a jpg on a site that links to a site that links to a site that hosts malware is a bit silly.
Looking fine for me here after I clicked ignore on firefox. Even that red bar has disappeared.
Gone for me now, finally.
But chalk this up to reason number 4 why Thou Should Not Hotlink That Pic If You Do Not Own That Page. (I actually wrote a rant about that because I'm a mod on another forum for their newbie guide. Guess I need to add to the rant.)
[Edit] Nope, showed up again, but at least I know why. Seems to show up again every time I reload (as in close fully and reopen, not the other kind of reload) Firefox for some reason.
Ragns, if I wrote a firefox addon for right click BG Bucket hosting, would that be okay? Similar to the imgur one.
In an attempt to reduce hotlinking since all you would have to do is right click the image to rehost it to the BGBucket
So was there a chance to get infected if you didn't go to the thread with the hotlinking? I think it was just Fuck or Duck.
FWIW, the warnings are gone for me as of the last hour or so. That right click plugin sounds nice, but wouldn't do me much good on Chrome =(
A plugin is fine too.
According to Google we're now clean.
