Electronic artist M83 is doing the score for this, which, if based on his previous work, should be ethereal and spaced out goodtimes.

Was a decent movie. IMAX made it better. Slow start (actually dozed off for a few minutes lol) but a fairly good story. Plus Morgan Freeman = win in damn near anything.

This movie was so fucking bad, oh my god. Half the people in the theater walked out half way through even, and that's not an exaggeration, was at least 30 people that left.

Predictable story, I mean seriously you can tell all the "twists" from the previews, and they show the same fucking scenes OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER

    FUCK

    Waste of two hours.

I just saw the trailer but let me guess - robots destroyed the world and make Tom Cruise fix broken robots, MorpFreeus opens his eyes, they kill robots?

Saw it tonight. It was just okay. And I'm being kind.

Some of the imagery was pretty cool but yes, it was very very predictable. Part of the reason I went to see it was cause they hyped it to have a great twist. I wanted to be surprised. I was disappointed.

    One other thing..

    Spoiler: show
There were buildings incased in rock and dirt all the way up to the top. If that were possible to happen it would take millions of years. It's not though cause the buildings would have turned to dust long before. It said the year was 2077 lol. And all that talk about humans living on Titan. I know sometimes in Sci-Fi movies you have to suspend disbelief but this one requires you to be retarded.

I actually liked it quite a bit. It was admittedly a bit predictable, and I wish I hadn't seen any trailers before it, it would have made the Morgan Freeman reveal far more intense. They did have some cool ideas, some of which could have been done a bit better in parts, but overall I enjoyed it, as did the people I went with.

That bugged us too. I don't think there actually were any human beings living on Titan, so that ended up not bothering me by the end of the film. I originally thought that maybe the 2077 story was a lie told to the drone repair team, but Morgan Freeman remembered actually before it happened. Had they left that one inconsequential line of dialogue out, I could have convinced myself the 60 year duration was just another lie Sally had told them.

They were terraforming earth (duh) so earth no longer looked like it did before save for the tallest buildings or whatever.

Revealing too much in the trailer ruin alot of the surprise and that was all they really had going for them and this type of movie. I enjoyed it for the most part, especially any scene with Cruise flying that cool plane.
