    One thing I was having a discussion with some other guys was DBZ is also a game of see who can hold back the most lol

    It's kinda embedded into the series since the old DB days. One or both of them are always holding back.

    Still, is the movie going to be released in cinemas outside of Japan? I'm sure DBZ has gained enough popularity now to warrant such a release, especially if funi get their hands on it.

    I know of a fumi trailer floating around on youtube but I'm unable to verify its realness given the huge retard bubble of dbz-fans flooding youtube with bullshit videos, but it seems like someone just used voice clips from existing eps/movies and dubbed it over the official jp trailer.

    Despite my predictions (and it coming mostly true; early in the thread) this film on paper doesn't sound too bad, and the villains, despite looking shit/ugly, seem decent too and has increased my motivation to watch this. I mean it doesn't seem depressing (i.e. movie 3, 4, 5 etc) and is in fact rather cheerful despite the possibility of the villain just wiping out earth in a sneeze.

    I just seen this in theaters in Shibuya...not sure what to think. I think they could have done much better.

    The movie lacked a lot to say the least. Even though we could not understand anything it just gave off a diff vibe. Not a lot of fighting.

    Man I notice people hated Tree of Might? I guess because it was the 1st DBZ movie I ever owned (VHS), but I fucking loved it. It was probably the only movie that you saw all the Z fighters actually being useful and fighting.
