About time Vegeta got SSJ3. By the end of DBZ he was the weakest of the Saiyans. Even the kids were able to do fusion and go SSJ3.

They were both ss2 in that fight. Even though Vegeta "won" that fight, Goku didn't go all out. Goku never went SS3 on Earth until after Vegeta blew himself the fuck up.

So Vegeta did not know about 3 until after he died.

They had lightning, they went SSJ2. SSJ 1.5 is Broli/Vegeta/Trunks during Cell saga. SSJ2 was Gohan Cell saga and Goku/Vegeta during Majin.

I think you have things backwards, what Trunks achieved was more like SSJ1.5. What Gohan achieved fighting Cell, and later Goku and Vegeta used at the start of the Buu arc was SSJ2.
