These Grand Company Colors Don’t Run! Winners!

After spending a considerable amount of time carefully inspecting each and every banner we received, the members of the Community Team have cast their votes and selected the winning entries!

Even though every entry couldn't be a winner, we feel that each and every banner expressed a great sense of patriotism that would make each of the Grand Company leaders proud! So thank you once again to everyone for their amazing entries!

There is way too much transparency and WordArt-esque drop shadow going on in some of these. Seem like video game forum sigs from like, 2007. Some are cool though. And no, I didn't submit because I'm lazy and assumed the quality would be higher.

Everyone got a Scarf of Wondrous Wit, but the 3 first-place winners also got a batch of grand company consumables (gathering exp scroll, crafting exp scroll, sanction scroll, and reraise tonic)

I entered for fun as Gridania and seriously didn't expect to win but if the Gridania one was at least good I wouldn't be bothered, but it isn't, herp derp. Both Maelstrom ones don't look great but I guess not a lot of people did Limsa. The runner-up for Gridana is a little lacking in color but overall better than the winner and one that I actually thought might win, and all the ones from Ul'dah I had picked out as decent. So much bad text effects. c.c There's like 4-5 other Gridania ones that look better than the Maelstrom runner-ups, they should at least have done fairly 2 runner-ups from each city.

I entered the contest, and am a bit surprised at their choices as well. Personally, I avoided text all together!

i like Pirika's vertical banner, but even then I'd have thought no text is better..

quite neat anyway.. this must be one of the 'community building' events
