which is weird because if you've ever talked to the elemental map NPC he says paralyze is earth based.
Because ormolu isn't a metal you could get by smelting ores, it's an artistic technique of gilding bronze (and just making a recipe like 1x gold ore 2x copper ore 1x tin ore would be way too cheap for hexed gear and 100+ skillups). Sort of like why there's no "Damascus ore".Why aren't there ormolu ores

They're all like that pretty much:
Bone: Dux Mail 107, then nothing till 110 with hexed jacket
Cooking: doesnt count
Smithing: Wootz Amood 105, then hexed stuff to 110 (and the 100 actually requires TWO ingots lol)
Leather: 3 synths to 105, then hexed to 110
Wood: no hexed stuff here
Gold: Ugol Body to 105 then hexed to 110 (Hexed haubert needs THREE ormoulu ingots...)
Cloth: chelona body 106 then hexed
Alch: can do a sword to 110 if you wanted
Just wait for cap to be pushed to 120 and hopefully there will be a 111 item thats not fucking stupid like the 105-110 crafts are.
Yeah that's what I was saying though making the materials for the last several lvls so hard to get. I mean even the ugol body with gold needs a palladian sheet and 3 chains... so looking at 7 ingots probably so like 28 ores from provenance . Other crafts have it tad (or a lot) better. It's bad over here I'm competeing against ah bots for staghorn. And they keep raising the price. From like 1.5 to 2.5mil in the last couple of weeks. ormulo steady at 2 mil but without torque and kinda meh gold stuff not alot of competetion on that. Though there are ah bots for the palladian ore
I'd just wait out the 120 patch...I'm pretty sure you'll commit suicide if there winds up being a 111 craft that will cost 20-30k loss per synth lol
Yes but imagine how much I could make if I televise that suicide!!! You know what would be even worse? If they finally released the torque for gold...
