NA Limited Edition details

Aksys will release a BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma limited edition in North America and it includes the same Rachel Alucard nendoroid Japan is getting. Aksys is also adding a 40 page art book with BlazBlue art book, soundtrack CD with music from Daisuke Ishiwatari, and a mysterious fourth item.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma is slated for release in early 2014. Kokonoe and Terumi will be downloadable characters.

BlazBlue Alter Memory is a new anime series, and the first episode is available to watch free of charge currently on Funimation's website.

The premiere episode is a bit over 23 minutes long, and has subtitles for the spoken Japanese audio. It primarily focuses on Ragna. Here's the official blurb. Ragna is on a one-man rampage against the ruling body, the Novus Orbis Librarium. And a mysterious woman named Rachel directs him to go to the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi next.

12 episodes are currently planned for this series which premiered in Japan on October 8, 2013. It is based on BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger.

Figures they get an animation studio that can stay on-model for an anime, but not the one they use for the story FMVs in the games. Took long enough for an adaptation though, was expecting one around the time BBCS came out.

Finally getting around to checking it out, looks like they've actually done a really solid job. Hope the whole thing hits Netflix since it's a Funimation deal.

Have a couple of hours logged in now, game is solid. Overdrive is more balanced than I expected. Haven't tried all the new characters yet but Bullet is pretty cool.

I got mine yesterday. Haven't played since CS so lots of re-learning. The re-mixed music tracks are solid but in some cases, I still prefer the originals.
