if you were looking for a sweet new monitor, possibly multiple with as little bezel as possible, you surely came across the LG IPS 237/277 with the advertised 1.2mm bezel. do not buy them for that reason, because it's a straight out lie:
the monitors are still good (27"@1080p is questionable tho), but the main reason why a lot (including myself) were looking into this, the "ultrathin 1.2mm" bezel is a scam.
It's like they clearly photoshopped all the pictures displaying this monitor with the 1.2mm bezel and yet the one in the box doesn't look anything like that. How can they even get away with this? lol
There was a guide on hardforum about removing the plastic, the panels, and the bezels of pretty much the entire monitor and replacing the bezels with electrical tape to get the least amount of bezel possible.
The guy used dell U3011's and runs like a $25,000 setup, its fucking sweet.
