From the animation the voice acting to the mysterious storyline, this show does it for me. I really love that they're only 9 episodes in and shown a lot of continuity. I can't wait to see how things progress down the line.
I also love that it grew from the tree that Rocko's Modern Life planted. So many amazing cartoons have come from that staff.
I did a search and I didn't see a thread for it yet. Tonight's new episode leaked a few days ago and was dynamite. They really impressed me with their attention to detail in the new one. Plus it's a great Mabel episode.
Paper Jam Dipper was one of the most amusing/horrifying things I've seen in a long time. I'm also already creeped out by the fanbase who insist on shipping Dipper and Mabel. Ewww.
Seen some bits of it here and there, plus heard a lotta good things, but didn't actually watch it till about 30 minutes ago(first episode)... And I gotta say, looking good so far.
This show is great. It's about the first show with actual charm and soul Disney has accomplished (without Pixar) in a very long time. It's fun without being artificially "edgy" or trying too hard while kids and adults can enjoy it.
That's what my girlfriend mentioned when she first got me to start watching. It's great to have a Disney show that's well produced, engaging, and filled with strong characters again. That being said, they also give the show quite a lot of leeway with content that flies under the radar.
episode 10 is the best episode so far.
just learned of the hidden messages in each episode with a hint how to decode them. pretty cool the details that go into the series.
