can't believe all that shit on the FB GW2 page. I've been playing for 4hrs with no issues at all until the login servers went kaboom. if they would be down for 3hrs or so, then I could understand some frustration.

There have been login issues all morning in europe, people are getting frustrated at the lack of info that Anet are putting out it's currently all "we know this isnt working" and they're getting a bit anxious. i had around 6hours of gameplay before being disconnected, but i just wanna get in and playing again and also get access to my HoM achievement gear/pets/minis.

I got to make my characters, transfer to the server I wanted in the first place and then the mass disconnect happened an hour ago. Haven't been on since. Few years ago I might have been pissed, but I expect it nowadays lol. At least I got to do what mattered. Most people at least got to play the first few hours and even before the official start time, better than most releases.

I'm EU too and haven't had any login issues past real headstart (8am GMT). follow their twitter, that's pretty up to date, even if they can't say more than "we're aware of the issue and are working on it". that's probably all the twitter guys get from the tech team anyway.

Not even a ton of stress tests could prepare them for this haha, and people wondered how a F2P MMO would be able to sustain it's self. I am pretty sure they've made enough revenue to cover this title for a good amount of years from sales alone lol.

Apart from this slight complication with their servers which you can't blame them for at all the amount of people logging on right now would shatter any server, it was an amazing launch. I am on THE biggest EU server and experienced zero lag during the launches peak, only issues getting past the initial log in server.

I reitierate my original statement that this generation will not see a fix to this. There's just no way with the limitations on server technology.
