Default CoreOnline - HD Games In Your Browser

    http://beta.coreonline.com/

SE has launched a new service that allows people to play some of their games for free*. The catch is that you are interrupted by ads every now and then.. Kinda like Hulu. It seems to be 1 minute ad per 60 minutes of playtime just about. Also, don't need a gaming rig to play, just a browser (they suggest Chrome).

Currently only two games available with more to come. Was playing a bit of Hitman: Blood Money in the office. lol

Definitely think it's an interesting concept, and some straight up out of the box thinking in order to fight piracy. What are you thoughts?

Doesn't work on Mac unless I install Chrome, so not trying it currently.

I'm assuming this is OnLive style where you're sending input and just receiving a video/audio stream, in which case I question how the heck they can break even on ads for a service that requires them to have a good server farm backend, as well as the amount of bandwidth it would require monthly.

Not really a fan of ads in my games. I know it isn't much, but who knows how bad it could get down the line.
