Hmmm very interesting start. Despite the subdued nature of the episode, the atmosphere and narrative are deliberately unsettling. The direction and layout in the first episode is really strong, which really helps to sell many of the scenes. there is also a huge amount of attention paid to how everything looks.

Overall a very solid start.

This was surprisingly watchable and had nice production values. Yeah, it's another battle royal rip-off and the characters are mostly walking cliches, but it was so well-put-together, despite being so overblown and ridiculous.

Edit: Also, Space Bros hit 26 episodes yesterday and didn't finish. Does... does that mean we're gonna have a full 50 episode long season????!?!!?! I would be ridiculously happy if that were to be the case
