That's amazing. I thought they were gonna rap it up quick and have it end with Hibito's launch, with hopes of a follow up second season, but another 12 episodes (at least hopefully) is spectacular. I actually love coming home late on Saturday nights after work or going out or whatever, watching Space Bros, One Piece and lately Hunter x Hunter back to back to back. It was topped off by waking up Sunday morning to Hyouka, but alas, all good things must come to an end ._.;

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun Ep 1

Wow, this was a really impressive first episode on all counts. In fact one of the best I've seen in quite some time, the storytelling, the quality of direction, etc, but one thing I found really engrossing about it was the main characters work so well together with some nice cuts for the comedic moments, nothing felt rushed, the characters were developed well, the jokes were funny, and they explored an entire spectrum of emotions in a single episode. really great stuff.

Studio Brains Base is Back.

Loved the show as well. Always enjoy a good rom-com, but I haven't had a good one in a while

Such a great first episode. I feel the same way about it. Been awhile since I enjoyed anime like that(well, SAO too). I can't tell if I was just burnt out on anime, or if this and SAO are really that good, but it makes me want to try and catch up now(stopped watching around Spring, but kept downloading everything I thought was interesting).

There's no guarantee that it'll maintain this quality, but hopefully the strength of the source material and Studio Brains Base direction will ensure consistency. I'm looking forward to seeing more.




Chuni-byo Demo Koi ga Shitai EP 1

A lavishly produced show with incredible art and animation, and some insane attention to detail. This episode does a number of things right. It establishes its setting quickly and thoroughly. The characters are also decently likeable. While it wasn't an episode I would consider unenjoyable, the show just seems to lack punch. Scenes don't carry much tone and the characters fail to create a presence on screen, unless you love moeblob antices. then you'll eat up all the characters interaction.


I'm looking forward to Episode 2 since it suppose to have some amazing action animation from Pre-screen event.

In my experience AniDB does a good job of tracking what groups are working on a show.

If Jormungand continues its copy paste from the manga, it's first arc should be the one time when we get to see the series shed its flaws. For 3 to 4 episodes the series should be the best thing since sliced bread. The rest of the anime will likely be status quo from there.

Every single thing about this show is dumb. The premise, the execution, the characters, the writing, the incredibly inconsistent production values, the shaky cam, the corny ending, male terrified by vaginas, everything.

If your hoping for tits then wait for BD or AT-X broadcast.

Busou Shinki Ep1

Oh man this was a trainwreck of a show. When there are so many areas I could attack the show, it's not even fun. The lackluster writing, shallow characters, ridiculous premise that goes nowhere, boring ass fight sequences, overabundance of CGI, fanpandering of the stupidest order, and the most trite relationships make this a complete waste of a premise and show.
