For pages about an entire species (Wyvern, Trolls, Roc, Vamps, Avatars, Golems, etc), I'm thinking about using photoshoped versions of Altana Viewer models.
Thoughts?

Would you mind commenting on the background as well? I have some alternatives here (Personally prefer white, but lets see what the posters think):
I find white a bit bland, but it might blend better with the wiki background.
Will be within a thumbnail, so borders will be defined at the least.
Changed up the pattern a bit to get this. I like this new pattern.
I'm reiterating, but they look fucking amazing. Good poses, camera angles, and nice filter.
Almost done with pictures for each species. I'm missing some beastmen, empties, unclassified, and *maybe* different elementals (I have a picture of an elemental and avatar, but beastiary page separates the elements). Just a few of the pictures I would like to share though:
Raptor is fantastic. Serves its purpose, and doubles as a humorous "dafuq u lookin at".
For the individual mob type pages (Called "Genus"), we'll be revamping the pages with the following in mind:
Also, would people mind looking at these templates and say which is preferable?Code:Genus Template Japanese Kingdom Phylum Class Order Genus Species Common Crystal Affinity Common Susceptible Common Resist Common Immune Common Traits (Use color from Traits page) Name Effect Condition Common Abilities (Use color from Abilities page) Name DMG Type (Physical/Magical/Spiritual) Effect Condition Range (Single/AoE Center/AOE Target/Linear/Conal) Notes NQ Versions (Sortable; Name/Level/Location) HQ Versions (Sortable; Name/Level/Location)

I find Template 3 much better. Template 2 looks worse with the image detached from the rest.
Threw up another template (4). Minor change to template 3 because I was getting agitated by that space between the wing and the border.
Still like 3 better, as I'm not fond of that frame for the image. I feel 3 looks more integrated with the rest of the data.
Not only does it look good, it makes me wish FFXI could look like this style. I'm having one of those moments where I forget everything I've ever learned about Photoshop, what is(are) the filter(s) you are using called?
The spoiler shows what this action pack does:
Spoiler: show
The action pack: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/65839275/Pu...y%20Images.atn
Place that within the
Program Files (x86) > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CS2 > Presets > Photoshop Actions Folder
When you open up Photoshop, to the far right, you'll see History/Action Tabs. Go to the action tab and click on the arrow pointing to the right to open/load the action pack.
Once you've used the action pack on an image, you can still edit the image. I didn't like the result of some of them; in those cases, I hid the layer with the graphic pen (And sometimes the blurred layer as well) and redid the graphic pen part. Instead of using black as the foreground, I would pick the color of the mob's shadow (Like dark red if Naraku or dark purple if Jormy) and use that for the graphic pen part. Sometimes you need to mess with the opacity of different layers to get the result you want.
Thoughts on this please

Areas just look bad in general, but I imagine people want a picture for each zone regardless.
v1 or 2 look fine, 3 looks out of place.
Are v1/2 preferable to a large image with a thumbnail? Keep in mind that would push the table to a new section (Probably called Geography).
If the issue is images, we can technically cut a few from the existing images (And I clippered the hell out of the test server for those images anyways) and upload as {{PAGENAME}}-Preview or w/e and that will automatically add them to the page.
That said, what would be the preferred format for the page using the existing pictures?

or other configuration?
Edit: The page shows some of the new icons uploaded btw. Red background = Aggros. Blue is non-aggressive. The link obviously means links lol.
