I remember something MH was supposed for the west like an announcement, but they never said anything.

Oh great. It comes out in JP two days after my birthday... Can this get any worse??
We need someone to seduce whoever is in charge of making the decisions. Come on BG who here has the softest lips? We can make it happen.
is there anything that stops you from using a vpn to play? or will it cause hella lag issues?
Yeah, not a lot of peeps play this series to warrant a port. RIP.
I want to take the collective management of Capcom, from the top to the middle managers, and kick each and every one of them in the nards because of Monster Hunter and Breath of Fire shenanigans.
You would think a text-only localization + digital-only release would make this game feasible to bring Stateside without the investment of making the physical product. PC-only if they have to, just to cut Microsoft out of the equation.
It would minimize losses that way at least, so less of a risk for them. Get a small base of players paying monthly, will pay itself off in under a year if the price of admission doesn't already do so.

not sure if they still do but last time i watched them (think just after Christmas) they did a 5-10 min section during there video about frontier game play
I think the only way MH can work in the west is have an actual online component not adhoc. Kinda like how Tri did it.
I'd take out a small village to fight that... My goodness...
http://www.otakultura.com/monster-hu...-released.htmlCapcom’s Monster Hunter Frontier G will be getting a massive update, with a game rebranding to “G2.”
The first video, uploaded to Monster Hunter Frontier’s official Youtube channel, introduces two new large monsters with a unique attack pattern. Roro-Gougarufu (red) and Rei-Gougarufu (blue) will be hunted simultaneously on the map. Given the right timing, these two will join forces to perform a tag team attack that vaults one of them in the air to perform an aerial smash attack. From the looks of it, this new dynamic duo knows a thing or two about pro-wrestling moves.

Players will be able to use the PS Vita touch panel for chat, item shortcuts, and for other functions. It can also share save data with the PlayStation 3 version.

Hopefully we can get it this time , i miss playing mh online without needing adhoc or etc.
To be Renamed to Monster Hunter Online Z on Nov 9th, PS4 version to be released Nov 22nd
https://www.gamnesia.com/news/capcom...-a-ps4-releaseCapcom's Monster Hunter MMO is getting another upgrade, and it's coming to a new platform. Monster Hunter Frontier Online launched back in 2007, and it was upgraded to Monster Hunter Frontier G in 2013. The online game is now set for another major update later this year, as Capcom has just announced Monster Hunter Frontier Z.
This new and improved version will launch on PlayStation 4 on November 22nd, making it the first iteration of the game to launch on Sony's latest console. Those who already own Monster Hunter Frontier G on any of its current platforms will receive an upgrade on November 9th. Unfortunately, there's still no word on a Western release.
