Reminded me of the first thirteen. Exactly what I want as well.

The exposition made me yawn, but next ep should be good.
Oh what the hell; I thought with GGO ending that was the end of the season, but there are moar episodes. Definitely out of the loop with this anime stuff.
I laughed way too hard at this than I probably should have.
Right up there with the Congraturations from S1.
Finally some mmo action(although it could still be better!)
I hope we get 1/2 an episode worth of fighting next week.
Enjoying this arc for what it is, but this episode was full of eye roll moments.
Even in AOL the best strat is to just zerg the shit out of everything.
Great episode. It's pure fanservice the way it references the SAO arc. Hell, Asuna even kinda breaks the third wall by saying she has Deja Vu.
Is it just me or for a bunch of supposedly top tier players, does the cast of SAO fucking suck at raiding?
1. They're beating on the physical resistant boss until someone gets the bright idea of "man if only we had magic" followed by "oh hai we have magic skills too".
2. The person with the shield and plate armor (Lisbeth) is standing behind the entire group while the DPS tank. Learn to hold threat, bro.
3. Their ranged DPS jumped onto the mob. You know arrows have range, right?
4. Their AOE heal spell took like 10 seconds to go off. Crossclass swiftcast, noob.
5. They have Yui who is basically a mod or the orange circles in FFXIV telling them that shockwave is coming. She then counts down. They proceed to all get hit like a bunch of scrubs.
I'm obviously being sarcastic here, but the MMO player in me found it funny how badly these guys were "playing".
Even DeadlyBossMods can't fix dumb.
I think Kirito and Asuna are technically the only two who could qualify as top tier raiders from what we've seen of the series in animated form. Shinon basically came in from an MMOFPS (where she soloed her frickin' rifle). Blacksmith girl likely spent more time doing that, as related to Kirito helping her get mats in the past. BST is a noob, I have no doubt. Other guy seemed more like the type to run a casual guild, even if it was decently successful. But yeah, I found their tactics a bit... lacking, if not odd.
I think Klein is also supposed to be a decent player and wasn't Kirito's sister said to be rocking in ALO?
Their party isn't balanced in the least. They even mentioned it lol.
Klein is your typical "it's my $12.95, I play how I want" kinda guy.
Klein's the guy in the group who always has roleplay/japanese phrases in his macros.
Also, they mentioned that there was a new patch that just added elemental abilities to physical attacks. And they're also doing a pretty high level dungeon, it's equal or greater than their level. And also, all their damage is based as physical. So it's not too hard to imagine that they'd be having a tough time.
And they have the Samurai who refuse to have anything to do with magic - including elemental weaponskills.
Maybe he played XI one time and he's now scarred.
