Examine the stone multiple times after killing Atomos, you'll get a cluster the first examine, and afterwards either get 5 crystals, 20 anima, or flee for 30 minutes. Most I've gotten from one stone is 4 examines.

You can also get grav'd, or three crystals.

How are your zones holding up? Brittlebark just crashed for the second time on Balmung. Glory/Coerthas has came near a crash twice. We miss Bluefog and Ever Lakes because of the sheer time it takes to process teleports out of Atomos zones.

Does targetable Atomos spawn at the same camps as the mob-spawning one? I spent a couple of hours farming seals and I never saw both at the same camp.

Is there any pattern to where he shows up? With all the goddamn lag and the fact that he dies in ~25 secs it's kinda hard to keep track of him.

As taken from the official forums:
Atomos pops @ 6:00 and 12:00 for Blue Aetheryte Camps, 18:00 and 0:00 for Red Aetheryte Camps w/ him fightable.


From people talking on my server, the pattern seems to be Glory >> Bluefog >> Brittle >> Ever Lakes. We always have missed Bluefog due to teleport hangup, same for Ever Lakes. So we've been sitting at glory til 18:00/0:00 >> town >> Brittle >> town >> glory til 18:00/0:00 and repeat.

Haven't had any zone problems on Durundal, other than teleporting out sometimes taking a few moments to activate.

There are still 2 things I'm a little curious about. Sometimes Atomos runs away and will summon different creatures. I don't know if this is random or not (it doesn't have to do with being unclaimed or anything) but I wonder if there's something more there. Also, given he's a creature of multiple dimensions, I wonder if anything different would happen if all 5 instances of him were killed at the same time.

Yeah I was trying to play this morning. Was having severe issues with teleporting, then was kicked due to ERROR, put into a queue and then was never able to log back in again.

Do the Imperials still spawn, or have I lost my chance at a hat?

Ever since I called it a night last night, I haven't been able to log back into Durandal. You know it's a good patch/event when the participation kills the servers.

Are there any requirements to being able to examine the voidstone aside from being present? Do you need to generate hate on Atomos or anything? Seems like it would be a leech fest if you didn't have to do anything.
