Highlights:
1) Cait Sith delay continues
2) Pianissimo will be level 20 soon
3) Exchanging crystal petrifacts for cruor will be easy but rather worthless (~100 cruor each), and you won't be able to exchange corundum.
4) Some "technical" info regarding item descriptions and why they can't always have specific stats in help text.

atleast destroying chests serves some purpose (you're already in the menu to begin with, and it gets rid of the shitty chests so you dont have to tab through again)

You go to Kupofried to flag the quest, then he sends you to Parradamo Tor. Must be reflagged every time.

For 100 per petrifact it's not even worth logging in just to trade them in or w/e hoops they make you do.

Lol, Cait Sith is only summonable and no BPs added yet. Why even announce the two new avatars if after almost 2 years this is all you've accomplished?
I know there are more pressing matters but damn, what a waste of time. Next time don't mention anything and drop the bomb in a version update without anyone knowing.
Some info on the expansion would be really nice anyway, at this rate I even doubt it's coming out next year at all.

Blinker nerf. They also nerfed cruor armor, so now there's no real way to exchange Cruor for gil.

No client-side update for this. I haven't checked what the items NPC for now, but it's pretty safe to assume they NPC for jack shit. I guess I'll use this last 1mil cruor on Atmacites!

- The following items can no longer be sold to NPCs:
Perle Solerets / Aurore Gaiters / Teal Pigaches / Perle Salade / Aurore Beret / Teal Chapeau / Perle Moufles / Aurore Gloves / Teal Cuffs / Perle Hauberk / Aurore Doublet / Teal Saio / Perle Brayettes / Aurore Brais / Teal Slops

Removing the link between cruor and gil is potentially the single largest FFXI economy-impacting change that has happened since the introduction of Abyssea. This should be interesting. There can't be anyone who didn't expect this sooner or later, especially with the hyper-inflation which I can only assume is from cruor botting, etc., but it took them a heck of a long time to do something about it.

I half expected Haks to be on that list, honestly.

This is going to kill Voidwatch farming alliances and raise the prices of HMPs and Rift items. Not to be too self-important here, but people like me who capped out on Voidwatch and were just dicking around for a little gil were the grease that let many gimp alliances slide along. I can't even count how many Qilins, Ig-Alimas, Mortas, etc. I've been to where I parse 40% and don't even want any of the R/Ex items. Once every few weeks I'd go SMN/BLM and convert my cruor during the night.

This nerf definitely had to happen (and should have happened a while ago), but there will be repercussions outside of what SE has anticipated.
