It's just stupid to bring up the Robin/Ted thing at all anymore. All signs point to Robin/Barney, Victoria supposedly (obviously not) made her peace with it when Robin moved out, and Robin flat out rejected Ted. This plot line has been dragged through the mud and beaten like a dead hors--- oh wait this is HIMYM. Carry on.
if you are just going to bitch about the show I cordially invite you to fuck off
Brover.
That is all.
All signs in this episode pointed to barney/robin. Robin and Ted are not happening, everyone knows that. Victoria leaving had to happen, and getting rid of her like this made perfect sense. I'd sure as fuck not want my wife to be friends with some dude she left me for a few years back.
Lol I like the show very much thank you but Ted and Victoria breaking up again for essentially the same reason sans Ted actually getting together with Robin? What was the whole point of reintroducing Victoria at all? She was supposedly the "right girl for Ted" but that idea dissolved the moment they got together. And, Ted originally broke up with Victoria because of the strain of a long distance relationship not so much because of Robin. Victoria left someone at the altar (or vice versa, either way, she intended to) for Ted only to force him to decide between her and Robin 5 months later knowing full well that Robin was very much still a major part of his life? Come on. You guys can't be seriously eating up this garbage of a plot. This was just more filler and almost zero plot progression for Ted. He went through a lot of dramatic changes to move on from the past, including but not limited to being flat out rejected by Robin then moving out of his old apartment but the writers basically negated all that character growth by bringing it up again. Yeah, Victoria had to go, we knew she wasn't the mother but to beat the Robin/Ted dead horse again is just plain stupid.
It's not actually beating that horse unless Robin and Ted get together, which they are not. It's Victoria being crazy about an ex gf. If that doesn't sound like something that happens irl, idk what to tell you lol.
None of this negates any of Ted's progression, because he is not getting together with Robin. Robin goes back to Barney, we all know this.
You're just getting overly worked up over a girl doing something illogical on a tv show lol.
Pretty much over this show.
Spoilered for episode title
Spoiler: show
Figured that was the perfect exit for Victoria. Ted and Robin aren't getting back together. But it's realistic that Victoria can't get over him leaving her for Robin. It's how most people would be I think. I would've been pissed if they had another few episodes where Ted and Robin aren't friends anymore, but they didn't do that thank god.
Doesn't matter. Best part of the episode was Brover.
Scariest part was Barney kissing the dog with the tongue
Best episode of the season
I agree. Lily was hilarious.
Lily was hilarious, I'm glad they're finally moving towards the whole Robin/Barney thing...
But it just seems like every week I keep waiting for something to happen with Ted and his story is just getting left behind while they seem to wrap up everything around him. Frustrating.
I'm assuming Ted's not going to date anyone else in the show (not seriously at least), so his story requires Robin and Barney's to wrap up and reach their wedding when he can meet the mother.
I think they said Ted would have one last relationship before the wedding.
Well that was a pointless episode...
