Ok, I missed this thread, but finally noticed it. Been watching the new series myself, some of the episodes/plots seem really weak (eg...Victoria/Ted break up / getting together / etc.) but I wont say anymore as half a page has already been devoted to that topic..

I was kinda annoyed at the end of this episode also..... a lot of unnecessary dragging out imo. I could be proven wrong in the next few episodes. Maybe they will magically make it all seem more important than it was.

Anyone else enjoying / looking forward to the Marshall plot line? He's usually my least favorite character, so this is a change.

Also, Victoria was looking pretty terrible this season. Went back and watched a few old episodes and she looks far more attractive there. Just saying.

Lets see what they do next week I guess?

Yes, same thing with robin. Both looked so much better seasons ago.

It is a really good show, and wouldnt mind it going on many more. Having the mother in the story line would be kind of odd.. not sure how they would do it.. but the last couple of seasons have been nothing but plot twist on top of plot twist anyway.

Nah bro. They said they have a spot where the story can split off based on whether it is renewed or not. If it is, he won't be meeting the mother. We will just learn more about that "moment"

Hopefully this show doesn't end like Drew Carrey Show & Scrubs. Big fan base but network decides to suddenly end the show and bury it at some bad timeslot.

Scrubs at least had a fantastic ending! (Albeit, on a different network. And no, I will never, ever include Scrubs school time as part of the actual series >_>). Hopefully HIMYM gets a similar, awesome ending
