My group just got kicked out of the ladybug fight, 3 of us anyway. WAR WHM and I killed it without any issues but now we will have to redo the other expeditions for the others. I thought they fixed this crap? Dropped Alcedo gauntlets with RNG TH4. Didn't do anything different under 50 or 25%. Only cast Waterga IV twice, usually sleepga. Used Searing Effulgence at any hp.

That's seems possible, I'm curious as to why there are 3 other grims in the dats. I know we don't have access to them but hell if we're only gonna use 1, and are questioning why to use a 2nd, wth would we use 3 more for.... I guess this brought to me the possible idea of a difficulty change. Is there a plan to add more to meeble? (more ranks/expeditions) and if so why couldn't I just access that from my 1st grim

The only thing I can think of is if the access restrictions become SIGNIFICANTLY easier in the future (as in 8 hours per KI or something), you could potentially have more than one static that you go with, so you could have separate progress books plus a book for buffs. Otherwise I have no clue. But since those books aren't yet available, that's certainly a possibility.

Also, there were two expansions planned for the "dungeon crawl" system (which turned out to be Meeble Burrows) on the FFXI content timeline for this year.

Maybe our leader had done it wrong, but we had attempted to do a #3 in another rank for buff. Leader said that it would not let her start the run because the mules who did not have the progress could not choose #3.

but we just did Goldwing, shit was simple. Didn't really bother to throw up a parser to check how much hp it might have.

As BRD (mule), COR (mule), WHM (mule), SCH/BLM, MNK, WAR

It hit the MNK once, and one of the -gas got through doing ~500 damage because we weren't really paying attention.

Reso was doing around 3-4k (I think, eyeballing), had filters so I'm not sure how much the MNK's smites were doing... accuracy didn't seem to be an issue at all with min/mad/embrava.

Came in all prepared and shit from someone on one of the previous page's testimony's, but it ended up dying in ~a minute.

No drops, but didn't do any of the other "missions" or whatever, just trying to clear through it as quickly as possible since our MNK wants the head from the last boss's clear.

My guess is a prepared BLU could solo that if it weren't for you needing a couple others to enter.

Just cleared Goldwing with a pt of 4 (WHM/SCH, MNK/NIN, DRK/something, NIN/DNC)

Not too bad.
I can echo what Nynja said about him using Waterga IV and Searing Efflugence right from the start.
Believe we cleared with about 8 minutes to spare.

With all due respect, and I dont want to come off sounding like a bitch, but you're comparing the damage output of a MNK + WAR buffed by a bard (presumably SV), cor, as well as embrava to a thief with no buffs whatsoever. Obviously its HP is going to go from full to 0 with a setup like that, but why would you bring an army equipped with RPG's to lil jimmy's high school music recital?

Yea, we killed it on Friday as Pld, Mnk, Thf for TH, Sch, and a Whm mule sitting in the corner for clear. Was dead in a few mins, we killed slow to try to stack TH. I got the Alcedo Gauntlets off it. Definitely easy.

My entire group minus myself was kicked out of adjunct expedition #1 (5/6) right after it kicked 3 of us out of ladybug fight. GM sent us automated messages (awesome) saying that they are aware of the issue. They should seriously do a system-wide message stating that this system is fucked to prevent people from losing ALL of their progress. The three people that got kicked from the ladybug fight lost all of their progress in their grimoires.

The glitch is bad enough that they should just completely block access to Meeble Burrows until it's fixed. All they need to do is remove Vrednev. My frustration level was over 9000 with those two expeditions, I can only imagine how frustrated I'd be if I was kicked out of a boss expedition. I remember a recent update there was a Limbus glitch (I think it was when Sagheera was eating chips or whatever) and they removed Sagheera until it was fixed. I think the problem is they have no clue what's going on - on the JP side they said this was patched already, but clearly whatever they did didn't fix the problem.

In case anyone wants to risk their shit and continue doing this, apparently Bendis's Hairpin also drops from Goldwing.

And that's why you dont try new events after 2 or 3 weeks they have been implemented because they are always full of bugs and all you are going to do is rage-quit. Sucks but its the truth.

Everyone does need 1-4 clears to attempt 5, when you register to enter 5, each person has to actually choose 5 as the area they want to enter to be able to go into the fight.

Just want to emphasize this one for groups just starting out. I was leader of my pt, and just chose the missions 1-4 for the group. Tried to do the same thing for boss, and kept getting the a member does not qualify message. We ended up just repeating a fiht with our fifth stone, so I was a bit disappointed to read that everyone in the group had to choose, not just the leader, for bosses.

Buy book 2, clear access to another boss if worried.

On Sep. 28 3:00 (PDT) we implemented countermeasures to address the bug from Meeble Burrows wherein a player may be ejected from the underground cave immediately after the start of a research expedition.

However, we have confirmed that the bug may still occur even after the implementation of these countermeasures. Therefore, we kindly ask for your patience while we continue to investigate and work on a fix.

It would be nice if they at least told us what was causing the issue so we could attempt to avoid it (but they probably don't know). Ours personally occurred after completing adjunct expedition #4, goal 3 completed, with one person dead on exit. Subsequently 3 people were kicked from goldwing (still won), and then 5 people from adjunct expedition #1. I'm wondering if it's worth zoning between runs or something, or relogging. Has the bug happened to anyone on their first expedition?

Yeah, it happened to me and some guys from my LS on out first try on the day it was implemented. We've yet to have it happen to us again so far.
