Transitionning to a new Lodestone (Oct 16 2012) + Transitionning to AAR

The Lodestone will be undergoing a number of changes as we approach the release of A Realm Reborn. As a result, after the last save maintenance on November 1, character data will no longer be updated on the website. In addition, some character data will not be carried over to the new Lodestone.
These upcoming changes are explained in today’s post.
What will happen to The Lodestone after the final save maintenance on November 1.
Character data such as completed achievements and quest history will not be updated after the final save maintenance on November 1. Furthermore, the “Last Week’s Heroes” and “Yesterday’s Heroes” sections of the Grand Companies page will be removed. However, players will still have access to the blog and linkshell pages.
*After the final save maintenance, character data will cease to update on the message board as well.

What data will be carried over to the new Lodestone.
The following are examples of data that vary from player to player.

Blogs
In order to allow users to share blog content on social networking sites, the posting format will be changed from rich text to plain text. Due to this change, current blog posts on The Lodestone will not be carried over, but there are plans to make them viewable from an archive page.

History
The layout of the character history page, which also includes achievements, will be changed on the new Lodestone site. Although the format of the new page will be different, your history data will be carried over and made available for viewing from an archive page.

Linkshells
On the new Lodestone, a “Free Company” page will be introduced to serve as a new community page for players. Because the Linkshell page will no longer serve this purpose, it will be redesigned to be more closely tied to the game. While Linkshells are not being removed from the game, Lodestone functions associated with the Linkshell page will be moved to the new Free Company page, after which time editing will no longer be possible on the Linkshell page. Also, while any existing information on the Linkshell page will not be carried over, it will be made available for viewing from an archive page.

*The above features planned for the new Lodestone are subject to change.

But...! theirs a decent amount of ffxiv and ffxi artwork on the ldoestone! JP people use it alot more then NA... by a very large margin.

Here's to hoping the pages I have bookmarked still load on the new lodestone o_O
