OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED.
2014 release for the US, this year in EU (yay).
Must be very early 2014 for NA then
What's up with EU getting all this stuff before NA lately? Still very excited that this is finally coming over here.
http://www.siliconera.com/2013/06/05...asumi-matsuno/Yasumi Matsuno of Tactics Ogre fame recently tweeted that he was meeting with Bravely Default illustrator Akihiko Yoshida for drinks. In a follow-up tweet, Matsuno jokingly added that Yoshida would not be discussing Final Fantasy XIV, on which he is working.
In reply to this tweet, another artist, Misato Mitsumi, questioned what Matsuno was working on, aside from Final Fantasy XIV. To this, Matsuno replied that Yoshida is at work on the next Bravely Default project.
This isn’t the first time a new Bravely Default game has been hinted at. The game’s producer Tomoya Asano has personally hinted at a sequel multiple times, and was at one point even collecting user feedback for a future Bravely Default game.

Enhanced version of Bravely Default heading West
The obtusely-named Bravely Default: For the Sequel will be the version of the forthcoming Nintendo 3DS title that makes it to Western shores, Square Enix announced via Twitter today.
The enhanced edition of the acclaimed role-player boasts a plethora of new features including an improved battle system, an overhauled user interface, quicker battles, dual audio, and more detailed environments.
Awesome!
I was hoping that was the case. Nothing like localizing the original version when JP is getting the enhanced version..
Now we just need a date.
This version is getting released in December and has dual audio/text.. so one would assume the west release wouldn't be too far behind.
