That thread is proof that white women love me. only one out of the group, other than brill, that escaped with no ban. lol
I had posts removed but no ban, but I'm not hardcore enough to keep posting after that warning lol
I had posts removed but no ban, and I was hardcore enough to keep posting (a bit) after that.
i just avoided it all together. im a pussy
I know that it was official but is there word to the possibility of Cooley starting on Sunday to boost the secondary? I know he cleared the physical past Monday... Roethlisberger tends to out-of-the-ass a miracle pass over the middle that just irks the shit out of me.Originally Posted by Cleverness

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 25TH
8:20pm EDT
Tampa Bay at Minnesota (-6.5) - What if Phil Rivers were sorta black? He'd be JASH, lobbing shit up to Vincent Jackson and torching the Saints defense like a boss. Unfortunately, his own defense is just as inept, ranking 31st in passing defense (behind Washinton, lol) and registering only 8 sacks in 6 games. Minnesota is pretty much the inverse of Tampa, and their D should be able to contain the Bucs' "weapons." The question mark is Peterson, who ran all over Arizona but was held out of practice with a bum ankle. Another close (and boring) prime time game. Vikings win, Bucs with the points.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28TH
1:00pm EDT
Washington at Pittsburgh (-4.5) - I was able to watch the second half of the Giants/Redskins game on Sunday, and I was laughing more than if I had been watching Anchorman, Caddyshack, and Blazing Saddles all at the same time. Unless Bobby Triple is planning on becoming a two-way player, there's no hope for this team. Personally, I blame Sean Taylor. Way to get murdered, guy. Big Ben is going to have an easier time passing on the 'Skins than he did avoiding prosecution. TAKE THAT, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE THREAD. Steelers win and cover.
Seattle at Detroit (-2.5) - Ol' Fat Face had a rough time with the Bears defense, but then again, who doesn't? With Mikel LeShoure becoming more and more effective, I like the offense to find some balance in the coming weeks. It will be hard to do in this one, however, as the Seahawks just keeps impressing with their toughness. Seattle has always been a hard place to play as a visitor, but now they're doing it on the road as well, led by a swarming secondary and a healthy dose of Skittles. On paper, Detroit is the more talented team, but I'm just not willing to bet that translates to a win. Seahawks in the upset.
Carolina at Chicago (-7.5) - From the week 1 thread:
I hate Cam Newton, but even I didn't think he'd be this bad. After two more turnovers coming off a bye, against fucking Dallas no less, there's just no telling when he'll turn it around. To make matters worse, the Cats can't even run the ball anymore, they've fallen from 150+ yards per game last season to 113.7 in six games so far this year. There's nothing more I can say about the Bears, except CUTTY DOES IT. Chicago wins and covers.
Atlanta at Philadelphia (-2.5) - Two of the better teams in the NFC, both off a bye, with JULIO and Shady McCoy for fantasy purposes? Game of the week, broseph. Atlanta won some close games against some bad teams, and needed a week off to get their shit together. Meanwhile, I'm guessing Andy Reid used his time off to feed on shrimp, small crabs, sea cucumbers, and various other mollusks and shellfish, building up his insulating blubber for the coming cold-weather months. This is a hard game for me to pick, but I think Atlanta's a little overrated just by virtue of being the last undefeated standing, and the Eagles' late-game collapses, while troubling, are more than just a little unlucky. The '72 Dolphins pop the champagne as Philly wins and covers.
New England at St. Louis (+7) - Last week, I was talking up St. Louis and their defense, and rightly so. They held the Pack largely in check for the first half, but you can only keep Rodgers down for so long. I expect more of the same this week, as the Rams hang with New England for fits and starts, but eventually are overpowered by the superior team. Watching Rob Gronkowski isn't even fun anymore. He's entered the Blake Griffin Hall of Boring Highlights -- they're just so big, strong, and athletic that anything they do in a sporting event seems passé, and frankly a little unfair. Patriots win, Rams with the points.
Indianapolis at Tennessee (-3.5) - Hey guys, Chris Johnson is back! Or maybe he just played against the Bills. The good news for him (and you, if you were unfortunate enough to draft him in your leagues) is the Colts might be even worse against the run. Sure, they shut down a TRENT-less Browns team last week, but before that they were a sieve. Also, Luck was in full RGIII mode last week, rushing for two TDs. When did these rookie quarterbacks get so fucking selfish? As for the game, uh, someone will win I guess. I'll take the Titans to win and cover.
San Diego at Cleveland (+2.5) - Cleveland got back on track with a pathetic loss last week, keeping pace with Jacksonville, KC, and Carolina in the race to April. I don't even care if TRENT suits up this week, as San Diego boasts the league's best run defense. They're also coming off a bye, so Rivers will have to go full derp-mode to give this one away. One last thing -- if this is it for Scott Fujita's career, well I just want to say thank you for all you did for the Browns franchise, which was make it a footnote in the whole bounty scandal. Chargers win and cover.
Miami at NY Jets (-2.5) - One of my friends is an overzealous Dolphins fan (no, not Tyche) and he's thrown around the word "playoffs" a few times in the last week or so. It will be delicious watching them limp to 7-9. I'm not exactly impressed with the Jets either, but I think their defense is ready to start taking games over. Reggie Bush started the season hot, but he's been hobbled and ineffective lately. If he can't get it going, this could get ugly. Jets win and cover.
Jacksonville at Green Bay (-15) - OMG COBB RUSH! KEKEKEKEKEKEKE!!!1 This game is so pathetic, I could only find one casino to post a line for it. Packers win and cover.
4:05pm EDT
Oakland at Kansas City (-1.5) - Y'all motherfuckers better recognize Brady Quinn. Dude is a top tier quarterback. First time around, he was hampered by Romeo Crennel and a God-awful Browns team. Now he's... hampered by Romeo Crennel and a God-awful Chiefs team. WHATEVER. Chiefs win and cover.
4:25pm EDT
NY Giants at Dallas (+2) - I can't figure the Giants out. Smash in San Fran, almost choke versus Washington. It looked like 2007 Eli out there instead of today's vintage, but he turned it on in the clutch and escaped with another win. New York had to rely on turnovers to win that division game, so good thing they're playing Romo and D A L S.
Spoiler: show
Giants win and cover.
8:20pm EDT
New Orleans at Denver (-6) - From the week 3 thread:
Spoiler: show
Broncos win and cover.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 29TH
San Francisco at Arizona (+6.5) - Not much to say about this other than my fiancée thinks John is cuter than Jim when it comes to Harbaughs.
Spoiler: show
49ers win and cover.

Excellent article on why Suggs is the best and will win comeback POY
cant decide on eliminator yet again...trying to save some good teams for the end, so im thinking chargers over breg's boys...but ugh i hate picking the chargers to win a game
i am excite for tonight, though im gonan miss the first half cuz of class =(
TB vs MIN is exciting? not trying to be a dick i know you like Harvin and shit but this game does not seem exciting
Buccos took the shitty Saints to the wire score for score, it should be an interesting game.
Vikings have a defense, Saints don't. I expect Conner Barth to score 9 points though.
More importantly will Matt fucking Stafford get me more than 15 God damn points this week? Mother fucker is killing me.
