Error 1327: Problem installing Steam

I'm having trouble installing Steam. Every time open the .msi file to install the program, I come up with Error: 1327 Invalid Drive E:\ I don't know what Drive E it's talking about, since I only have Drives C and D.

Is there anything I can do to help the installation or am I out of luck?

Windows 8 Home Edition-64 Bit if that helps.

I've seen this same issue before with W7-64bit so its definitely not specific to Windows 8. How I fixed it using this, adding a usb drive and changing the letter to that drive (the drive letter its telling you constantly is what you should change it to).
