all those pizzas are flat and thin. This is why NE pizza is superior. They don't skimp on the sauce/bread/cheese/etc.

Also, I would give up in trying to convince me. I found out one thing that makes NE pizza unique in that they use white cheddar for the cheese. Only consistent store I've found that actually sells white cheddar in Cali is costco (not on their pizza though). alberstons, walmart, etc. do sell them but only at certain stores, and I've so far struck out in finding any in Van Nuys. I had found one Alberstons that sold it in Covina, but it went out of business. wry you no love white cheddar california?

Masa has a deep dish pizza (not crazy chicago deep but awesome), and it's fucking delicious. Go there with your hubby one night, bring a bottle of wine (no corkage) and treat yourself to a small deep dish pizza (more than enough for two) and a manchego salad. Trust me. All the sauce, bread, and cheese you could possibly require.

Little Caesar's is like worst case scenario when we're hungry as hell and don't want to wait. Otherwise I think their pizza is shit.

There is one Little Caesar's near me that makes a stuffed crust 1 topping for $8, it is so amazingly good. Since you have to special order it, it comes out piping hot and they put some amazing garlic butter sauce around the crust. It's far superior to even Pizza Hut stuffed crust.


I brought a few with me to work when we worked overnight once, and had every single person that tried one going insane over it. Of course then they would go to their Little Caesar's and get told they don't have stuffed crust.

Our hand tossed/stuffed crust is just frozen disks though and the outer edges are sprayed with this new wesson oil that makes my fingers melt. It's swapped now for two day dough instead of daily as well. Thins are no better than the hand tossed as they come in frozen disks of frisbee death. They are the healthiest option though as long as you don't mind crackers for your crust.

I remember a little Caesar's about 15 years ago that did the same, I thought I was losing my mind because no one else I ever talked to remembered it. I know not every individual store has it but man, if I could find one that did, I would drive out of my way for it. That stuff was really damn good.

i used to despise them until i moved to south carolina and was forced to rely on the other chains (since none of the locals had delivery service). upon moving back to new england and trying them again, i've come to the conclusion that papa gino's is the only legit pizza chain. i still prefer locals, but PG is pretty decent in a pinch.

Considering Little Caesars seems to give a shit about their workers, the sheer lack of Pizza Huts in the outer boroughs of NYC, the marked drop in quality of Dominos Pizza over the years and the fact that John Schattner can suck a bag of penises I'll stick to my $8 pies from the hole in the wall joints or patronize Little Caesars for their walk-in deals.

Little Caesars cares about their workers, but you should hear the contempt for their customers in some of the less affluent neighborhoods. Dated a guy who ran 3 in South Central Phoenix when it was super ghetto (As opposed to the current Ghetto/Upscale Hybrid) and he would tell me about how they used to audit him for having the highest revenue's in the state with stores in the lowest income area's because "Poor people cant' be buying that much pizza", among other things.

Also, I miss 1990's Domino's. Their deep dish used to be amazing, now aday's its a dry salty mess.

Could be a time factor too. I used to live the shit out of Papa Gino's then they tried changing up their pizza at one point, and it wasn't that good for years. After awhile, they switched back to their old recipe.

Lol, I just remembered. PG had (has?) this awesome salad dressing...Light Burgandy I think they called it. My dad became friends with the managers of one we used to frequent and she used to give us a huge jar for free now and then lmao.
