wonder if reid will draft geno smith and try to turn him into mcnabb

its perfect, a black qb that can run and throw the ball both deep, and at your ankles on short passes

The only other option is to try and get someone in free agency/trade and I doubt Reid sees anyone.he likes enough. Although there is Terrelle Pryor he is black.

I think Reid is a good coach. I don't like that trope about him, however.
Uh, McNabb was one of the most questionable QB prospects to go in the top five of a draft, he did pretty okay with him. Just keep him away from receivers, I wouldn't wish Pinkston/FredEx on anyone.

Small was a fifth-round pick, Thrash an undrafted free agent... FredEx a first, Pinkston a second. Just sayin'.

Reid got a lot of credit for someone else's greatness. He's good with getting the most out of a QB that can be got (or at least, he was), but he's really not a good coach. I'd have preferred him in San Diego, but I'll take Kansas City with a giant smile on my face.
    lol no

the eagles offense has finished in the top 10 in yards and points more often than their defense has during andy reid's tenure. when has the eagles defense ever truly been dominant???

    how bout never

their pass defense (what they were known for because they blitzed so much) has finished in the top 5 twice in the past 15 years, and their run defense finished in the top 5 a whole one time

the eagles were one of the most balanced teams out there over the past decade in a half. andy reid didnt like to run the ball but it's not like duce staley, westbrook, and shady are your quintessential every down backs. holy shit

if we want to include players he inherited as stars that he groomed, there's brian dawkins, tra thomas, Congressman Jon Runyan, jeremiah trotter, david akers who were all drafted in 1997-98 I believe

edit: akers was a free agent signing, nvm
