I liked it have the same feel from GITS that I've come to love. That shit they came up with for Motoko's back story is dumb though and they should feel bad.
Found it decent, if a bit lacking in the mindfuckery department.
Ep 2 is out, havn't watched it yet though.
Was not bad at all, but first thing popped into my head in the first ep was what are members of the Akatsuki doing in this?
lol
Pretty good series, watched Ep 1 and 2 over the weekend. Made me go and redownload SAC and 2nd GIG to start watching those again.
Liked it, but I think if you're not a gits fan it would probably be lacklustre.
Any groups do part 2 yet? Haven't found it yet.
There's a bunch on tokyotosho, shouldn't be hard to find.
So episode 4 is out. While the first 2 episodes were lackluster episodes 3 and 4 are everything I've come to expect from this series. Absolutely love they way they tied this into the original movie.
Kinda wish they'd go back to the SAC universe, but part of me is afraid that if they did they'd fuck it up.
So I just started watching Arise: Alternative Architecture. Whats the diff between this and the OVAs? Is it just a retelling of the same thing?
The ova in tv format with new content towards the end of the season to lead into the film.
Well, the first 3 (Well, 6 technically) are on Netflix and... well, I really like it. I was worried at first like most when the character stuff was released but despite it differing in art style I really enjoyed it, I barely noticed it when watching it.
I recommend it to the people who might have been skeptical, it was real cool.
