Am I dyslexic? (Reading aloud)

So~ if you've ever used TeamSpeak or Ventrilo, you know there's the inaudible person, the robot person, and the person who sounds like they're in a (wind)tunnel. I was curious, and recorded myself to check what my mic sounds like to other people (never had complaints), because it was a cheapo mic that came bundled with a cheapo webcam that I got a long time ago. I read something from the wikipedia because I didn't know what to say, and got this:

I can talk just fine, I can read just fine, but I can't seem to read aloud without issues. This isn't public speaking anxiety, because I'm not in front of anyone, and I recall having some difficulty reading things straight through on the first go since I was little. I find myself more confused when I read out loud than when I just read stuff to myself. So BG, am I dyslexic? (Or am I just incompetent? lol)

Bonus points if you actually record yourself reading something random to listen to yourself. (You don't have to post it.)

Milkster is right. I can read and talk fine, but when I try to read copy I fumble terribly like there's an issue. I get into a loop of trying to speak as fast as I read, and eventually I stumble over everything and have to stop; and I do it over and over again. It ends up sounding like I can't read because I fumble so much.

It's called FLUENCY. It's a practiced skill that was highly disregarded until the end of the 80's in public education. Seeing as how most of you went through your elementary education after this I am only left to assume that it just didn't catch on or was relevant in your studies. It's a pretty important part of comprehension and overall language understanding (reading out loud). Willing to bet that you comprehend what you read better if you don't read it out loud as well. You're not dyslexic. Just thought this was interesting as I am now studying the history of reading fluency in elementary education right now.

It's like I always knew this.. but forgot about it. Also a pretty good explanation for why I subtly read out loud to myself when adhd prevents me from getting past a line or two, or why I almost always read japanese out loud since I'm barely intermediate with it.
