Might not be as good as some of the other merit ws but will often beat drakesbane from what I've seen. Obviously more crit rate/dmg will favor DB (ie abyssea) as will mythic but otherwise should be SD
As far as the original question goes I'd do neither. Assuming gorget/belt and 100% tp, tp bonus only adds 9%ish dmg to ws. Losing a hit is nice but not really worth gimping a weapon. If you going to do a bit of work I think OAT is one of the better polearms outthere outside of things like mythic and probably relic and odin v2 pole
So I'm trying to do some testing on spirit casting and it is varying quiet a bit with no change in equipment. 5 sec differences neutral day no weather etc. Is that normal?
Without leveling the mobs up, up to what level can you skill up on mandies in Aby-Altepa?

Would drakesbane win in high-attack situations? Or is that theoretical never a reality because you'll be /sam and lacking berserk?
Sware the one time I had attack buffs on some VWNM with /War Drakes was outdoing stardiver (Usually /War for VW to access all Staff WSs, STP atmacite covers STP loss over /sam.)
Want to augment all my sky gear -- I just need to get synergy to level 18 (initiate) and then feed the oven tatters (and the piece of gear) right? I've been seeing many cheap tatters floating around bazaars. 2000g a shot seems like a fun gamble.
If I get an augment I like, but not the best, and run out of tatters, I can keep the augment and re-augment it later? Or do I need to reobtain piece of gear.

Might as well level it higher than 18. Going to 60 shouldn't take more than a day or two at least."Tatters" and "Scraps" obtained from abjurations and sky god seals are used in Synergy recipes that add augments to your equipment. At the completion of the Synergy, you are given the option to keep or reject the new augment set. If you choose not to keep it, your piece of equipment with its old Augment is returned to you. If you keep it, you get the new augment. Either way, you lose the "Tatter" or "Scrap" any time you successfully complete the Synergy.

Noodles: I know levelling synergy has its merits but I am not too interested in the system overall (I guess for cooking it seems handy) -- I just want a cheap and fast way to improve my gear temporarily lol. Aside from these reasons are there any merits to levelling it to 60? (also, besides possible SoA usage)
