This was a nice nostalgia bomb. That Steelers-Cardinals SB is so underrated, fucking crazy game. James Harrison's 99 yard pick 6 to end the first half... one of the best plays in SB history. I was rooting hard for the Cards in that game and was in utter shock.

    Ozzie always finds a way.

I say they should let Dickson, Cary Williams, Ed Reed go. Then Lewis is out as well of course. It is still very tight and I hope to God we don't have to choose between Kruger and Boldin but I think we will. There's no way they let Pitta go though, we have shit for TE besides him and Dickson and he's the clear better of the two, not to mention Joe Flacco's best bro.

I think the offense would not work without Boldin. I think the defense can find a replacement for Kruger in the draft or try and groom Upshaw. Kruger has been an absolute monster but he's gonna cost a fair amount after the second half he's had. As much attention as he's been getting it isn't enough - he makes it past the line on most plays and was a big reason Brady was so off the other week. He wasn't comfortable in the pocket.

At the same time Boldin's a lot older :/

I always wondered why Antrel Rolle wasn't more of a goat for being on the sideline and getting in Fitzgerald's way during the return, keeping him from getting to Harrison 10-15 yards sooner than he did.

Ozzie is a mad scientist but that's gonna be some work. Need young players to step up and stay healthy.

I've been calling him a murderer for awhile now, people keep trying to forget that shit. If OJ can't get off ridicule free, neither can Ray Lewis.

    Good news:
Corey Graham looks like he's capable of replacing Cary Williams
Upshaw can probably replace Kruger - that's what he was drafted to be in the first place
Ellerbe didn't show enough to merit a huge contract but is definitely good enough to replace Ray Lewis

    Bad news:
    We have no SS
All our options at #3 WR fucking suck
Convincing Joe on a deal before the franchise tag deadline? Highly unlikely

Corey Graham is nothing more than a nickel back.

I don't think he got a very good shot in Chicago. He was an absolute stud in ST and from what I have read he was mainly kept there for that reason. But I will take your word for it. He's been excellent for us generally, but I also have not seen him covering #1s. TO BE FAIR, Cary Williams is pretty fucking bad and has been playing as our #1. I mean he's either picking you off or letting you beat the shit out of him, and the ratio isn't pretty.

    @ Heady -
I really do think they keep him. If they don't, it's going to be fucking ugly. Torrey is feast and famine (although getting better) and we can't keep both good TEs realistically so we can't exactly get away with a Patriots meh 2nd receiver-beast TE type situation.

But yeah that comment was in reference to Jacoby, Doss, LaQuan Williams all being pretty shit options at WR.

    .
Yeah I read that article as well. It was total bullshit. He got a fair shot but he couldn't beat out D.J. Moore when Tim Jennings was benched.

Don't get me wrong I'd love Corey back on the bears but mainly for ST and nickel situations.

It was anecdotal, I personally don't ever hear anyone talk about it. If anything you just see the game winning pass to Holmes and not the awesome stuff before it like the Harrison return and Fitz going nuts.

You'd really rather keep a reliable possession receiver over your best (I guess pending Suggs recovery) pass rusher?
