TED to move to Vancouver in 2014

TED isn't really a standup forum. They record a lot of speeches that aren't posted - and clearly hers was "released", given that you can watch it online.

They basically tried to hide it because they didn't like it. Someone managed to get the footage and get it online anyway.

I don't like her comedy and generally don't find her funny-- but I thought her talk was absolutely perfect at defining how she looks at things and why her comedy is what it is.

Excited that the TED conference is moving to Vancouver. I'm going to try to save up and try to attend an event. Any of you planning to attend & check out Rain City that is Vancouver.

$7500 is big bucks, even if you could do awesome networking there :/
