Both solved very easily with sweetfx. I've been using the AA and Sharpening from there in the place of the in-game since Tuesday.
anyone else run into the gimp conversation from Pulp Fiction in Bloody Barons basement too? pretty funny
Word to the wise for anyone, do the various Treasure Hunts for Witcher gear and their upgrades as soon as it's feasible based on your level. All 3 sets and their weapons seem to be pretty much the best gear in the game, and all look fucking sick as you upgrade them.
Graphics looked a lot better after patch. I logged in and ran about 20 steps and game booted me to desktop but I could still hear audio and menu interactions.
Got back in. No voice audio again. Cant find a fix for it. Really annoying and game breaking for me. My audio drivers are up to date.
Fixed the audio issue. Turns out my windows audio control settings had me on 5.1 instead of stereo. Changed and audio is working. doesnt sound as spiffy though.
Once I got audio working, ran 5 steps and crashed again lol
I found myself having system crashes on 1.03 where just game crashes in 1.02, fixed it by running fullscreen instead of borderless but yeeeeeeaaah. I don't think it's gonna be fully stable for a while.
Anyone else not able to alt esc to tab out?
Wouldn't let me minimize unless I had something else open to switch to, if that's what you mean.
"I think Amalur is a better game than this"
Got the platinum for Amalur when it released and can attest the incredible gameplay.
For Kepler GPU owners, was confirmed over on the nVidia forums that there are a few major problems with Kepler atm and they're working on driver updates. There's no ETA, though.
Also, stopped watching the above vid around the time they went feminazi.
I hope it is Hairworks related. I switched it on to check it out on some big wolverine looking thing, and hot damn is it sexy. Tanks me straight down to like 35 FPS though.. brutal.
Started playing this yesterday. Mixed feelings so far.
Hoping at some point there's a patch or a mod to remove the horrible animation locking / physics auto-correcting / crazy-ass inertia on the movement on in this game. Super frustrating coming from games like Dark Souls, Dragon's Dogma, etc. Feels like I'm trying to parallel park a 747 on an ice skating rink.
On the plus side, Gwent. I fucking love Gwent.
It has to do with a shit ton of tessellation being dumped on some recent games, which will perform like crap on everything not Maxwell. Anyone who thinks it isn't intentional to cripple they're older gen cards and try to force customers to buy new shit hasn't been paying attention to what a generally scumbag company Nvidia is.
Debating between PC and PS4. I have a computer capable of running on ultra, can also use the PS4 controller on computer, but alas, 70" tv in main room.
If your pc can run it on ultra, go PC.
So.... I just found the most hilarious thing to do in witcher 3...
I found this Lv ?? basilisk near Oxenfurt, tried to kill it, but the level is just way too fucking high, so I kited it to oxenfurt and it slaughtered the whole city LOL
