I don't think it has anything to do with time, but rather it's a cheap and easy way to give races different hairstyles and give the player more choice. Whether or not the choices available are good or not is a different issue. For some reason I expect this to be the new grass though.

I want them to use hair styles across races. I don't want to be rocking my cute lil manqo'te and see a hair style on a hyur that I'd rather have that my manqo'te can't have. I think there will be plenty to choose from and more added later considering they are adding a barber shop.

I... don't think I'd like to see Taru hairstyles on other races, to be honest. They're so doofy and off-the-wall. Can you imagine that little creme-puff one on a Galka?

I want to see a manq'ote with a nearly-bald hairstyle, just so I can see how they'll possibly work out the furry ears with that.

While I won't be surprised to see some hairstyles across races, I think you're crazy if you think they'll unlock them all for everyone.
