Beta access is nice, but it's all about that 9.99/mo for me.

I'm just weird Gokulo. XD
I just know that if I hadn't made Legacy I would have happily paid the normal cost per month if the game is as good as I hope it will be. I mean I paid for a ffxi account + 11 mules back in the day for years. All because I'm a packrat and I like having "outfits" or furniture to change around on my main.
I've even reactivated half those mules and my main to pass the time.
Had no clue about the discount thing.. now I wish i kept playing (and paying).
is there or will there be a way to still get Legacy status after the 2.0 release? the cheaper month cost and the other bonus stuff sounds nice D:
Just logged into the beta forums for the first time. My first thought was "holy fuck" at the amount of retardation in the hot topics list. My second thought was they really need to put that forum theme on the OFs.
Rewarded for accidentally getting the discounted multiple month subscription and only playing for 1 yay!
what everybody else said
Looks like they took down that thread in the OF I was having fun reading it.
Got my key - Legacy status
Looking forward to the benchmark/client download.
According to the reddit thread, there are a few people claiming to have gotten in without being legacy, but it seems to be a very small number of people. They probably only invited a few of them for now, but will continuously add people as the test goes on.

May play out like alpha did where they added people every 3 days depending on the congestion
Have they stated how many servers they intend to have up for beta (phase 1)?
The roadmap stated between 5-10 worlds.
Best you could probably hope for is them doing bulk subs, like buying a 3 months for $11/mo and perhaps up to a year for $9/mo or something. There's a part of me that dislikes $15/mo basically being the "standard" most P2P games have adopted, especially if you're left feeling your money could be better spent on various things within the game. But I'm also a cheapskate that grew up on the early days of bnet where charging to play online games was basically not on the radar.![]()
