Idk. Yes it has some arcade features, but it also seems to have lots of sim features. The only arcade stuff I have seen is HUD stuff to promote competition with others. Looks like a SIM with arcade overlay. The car selection seems to be limited. It is definitely a mix.

Told you it looked like a Sim with minor arcade overlay in the hud for social features.
That shit looks FUCKING RADICAL DUDE!!
The Spyker C8 is in the game... teehee
Dude its always been like that for free games with ps+
Damn that sucks.
The Driveclub PSN+ version was always a trial version. You could still apparently platinum it but it was never going to be the full game.
When upgrading these PS+ versions of games, does it cost the full price of the game when normally purchased? or will it be a little bit cheaper?
I think PS4 is the first time they've done it, so until they announce pricing when the games released we just don't know.
Delayed againhttp://gematsu.com/2014/01/driveclub...ch-title-japanSony Computer Entertainment Japan has changed the release date for Driveclub, originally set to launch alongside PlayStation 4 in Japan on February 22, to “undecided.” A reason for the change was not announced.
http://kotaku.com/driveclub-delayed-...pan-1502484530Slated to be a PS4 launch title in Japan, DriveClub has been delayed and won't make its planned February 22 release in Japan. The reason for the delay? Website Inside Games quotes the press release as saying, "Various circumstances."
The game's release date is now TBA for Japan and will be announced at a later date. Note that the game's release date was "early 2014" for the West, so this could just be Japan being slow about the first delay?
DriveClub was originally supposed to be a launch game for the PS4 when it went on sale in the West. The game, however, was delayed at that time until this year.
"DriveClub will be a truly innovative, socially connected racing game," Sony's Shuhei Yoshida wrote last fall, "but the team requires more time in order to deliver on their vision—and I'm fully confident the game will surpass your expectations."
No word about how the game's PS4 launch delay for Japan impacts its global release.

So there was no official announcement, they just never changed the date from the "guessed" launch date for Japan.

DriveClub game director leaves Evolution Studios
Game is fucked. Shades of Bioshock Infinite.Rodgers also confirmed to VideoGamer that his departure is not connected to today's wave of layoffs, which saw redundancies at Evolution, Guerrilla Cambridge and Sony London Studios.
However, with Rodgers out it isn't yet clear who will be leading development on Evolution's delayed PS4 racer in his place.
Last month it was revealed that Sony had previously taken DriveClub "back to the drawing board", although the game is still technically due to launch in early 2014.
