I am actually rather curious about this, as well. While I plan to play it on the PS3 and eventually the PS4, I am curious if my laptop will be able to be utilized at all.

If you're just using CCC have you tried sliding the Power up to +20%? That's not a voltage increase, it just allows the card to run at its actual TDP and is safe. It sounds almost like the card is throttling itself. If you've done all that stuff, I'd almost say just RMA the thing, you might have just gotten a bum card. :/
Latest beta drivers, no power shortage and yes, I'm maxed at +20%. It's definitely not throttling as I can detect that. I may try doing a completely clean driver installation, though.

Only poked multipliers thus far, slightly scared of the voltage, These coolers are way too efficient, CPU idles around 18-19c, and my feet are !"¤# freezing (haven't closed the case entirely yet)

While there isn't much data being reported into the spreadsheets on AMD CPUs, the few bits of anecdotal evidence I've seen here have been really poor, especially relative to similarly specc'd Intel builds. Even the other info spreadsheet over on the OF has sparse AMD data. Is this something to be expected given the AMD/Intel performance gap this generation or is there something more to it?

Not sure if I ever resubmitted my scores, so can't check the sheet. Here are my AMD results.

    Phenom ii x6 1055t @3.5
    Gtx 480 @800/2000

I scored 5600 my first go, after updating drivers I score 5100. This is at max settings 1920x1080 with 8 gigs of ram and a 128gb crucial SSD.

Iirc, I matched up fine with intel builds using a 480

I'm not sure when exactly it started happening. I was an AMD fan for a really long time, going with AMD / ATI over just about anything. Then reviews started slipping for AMD; they became a budget processor that was good for certain tasking ( I have an 8 core AMD that I use for my ZFS server - cheap and good performance ).

But when it came to gaming, Intel just seemed to be winning. When I finally dived out of AMD and into Intel with my i7 920 D0 purchase, I knew I was probably done with AMD for good. There just wasn't a comparison. My old AMD gaming machine became a server until last year when I upgraded ( as mentioned above with the 8 core setup ).

Then there was the whole announcement in 2011 about AMD withdrawing from PC and not focusing on Intel competition to instead focus on Mobile, and yeah...

I'm ready yaaa, honestly I saw minimal differences between Medium to Maximum settings, you can turn certain things off like Grass settings because they look like utter crap to me, limiting just a few options in Max pre-sets also give you a major fps boost. I really hope they dont cap the FPS to 60 because I use a 120hz monitor and it would be lovely to play this game at that level.

Surprisingly my other system with a Ati 7970 scored lower than this, so tired of their driver inconsistencies that I don't want to be bothered anymore by ati cards. Upgrading to Titan soon for the best discrete single gpu solution.

Drivers are shit in general for it atm. Only reason my score with a 670 is so high is because I played with drivers until I found the most optimized ones which were worth over 1000 extra points compared to the newest available drivers that the Titan is regulated to.

Well, I scored 8600 with my 670 and the newest beta drivers (314.14), that's just 1200 below a Titan, which is a $1000+ GPU

This is with the 306 ones

Card hit 78c doing it. CPU didn't seem to break 36c
    CPU @4.6Ghz (crashed when I tried 4.7), GPU @ 1006

iSad waste of money, then again, in the range of that card, I guess it all is :/
