Titan on Intel platform, non-OC'ed: 9033
Need to figure out where the problem With the memory lies before I try tweaking it any.
(Windows only recognizes 12 GB, in CPU-z it sees all 4 memory sticks, need to try to move them around and see what happens)
Spoiler: show
Edit: went over the memory sticks, guess one wasn't seated properly, shows 16GB now.
Small CPU OC: 9366
Spoiler: show
tiny poke at the GPU: 9837

Only poked multipliers thus far, slightly scared of the voltage, These coolers are way too efficient, CPU idles around 18-19c, and my feet are !"¤# freezing (haven't closed the case entirely yet)
While there isn't much data being reported into the spreadsheets on AMD CPUs, the few bits of anecdotal evidence I've seen here have been really poor, especially relative to similarly specc'd Intel builds. Even the other info spreadsheet over on the OF has sparse AMD data. Is this something to be expected given the AMD/Intel performance gap this generation or is there something more to it?
Not sure if I ever resubmitted my scores, so can't check the sheet. Here are my AMD results.
Phenom ii x6 1055t @3.5
Gtx 480 @800/2000
I scored 5600 my first go, after updating drivers I score 5100. This is at max settings 1920x1080 with 8 gigs of ram and a 128gb crucial SSD.
Iirc, I matched up fine with intel builds using a 480
I'm not sure when exactly it started happening. I was an AMD fan for a really long time, going with AMD / ATI over just about anything. Then reviews started slipping for AMD; they became a budget processor that was good for certain tasking ( I have an 8 core AMD that I use for my ZFS server - cheap and good performance ).
But when it came to gaming, Intel just seemed to be winning. When I finally dived out of AMD and into Intel with my i7 920 D0 purchase, I knew I was probably done with AMD for good. There just wasn't a comparison. My old AMD gaming machine became a server until last year when I upgraded ( as mentioned above with the 8 core setup ).
Then there was the whole announcement in 2011 about AMD withdrawing from PC and not focusing on Intel competition to instead focus on Mobile, and yeah...
got 1200 ish i think on laptop. was able to play fine. game was only really laggy when a ton of ppl were on screen
i7-3770K @ 4.5GHz
16GB 2133 RAM
GTX 670
Win 7 Ultimate
i5-3570k @4.2ghz / GTX 670 / 8 gigs DDR3 / Win 7 64-bit
I'm ready yaaa, honestly I saw minimal differences between Medium to Maximum settings, you can turn certain things off like Grass settings because they look like utter crap to me, limiting just a few options in Max pre-sets also give you a major fps boost. I really hope they dont cap the FPS to 60 because I use a 120hz monitor and it would be lovely to play this game at that level.
Surprisingly my other system with a Ati 7970 scored lower than this, so tired of their driver inconsistencies that I don't want to be bothered anymore by ati cards. Upgrading to Titan soon for the best discrete single gpu solution.
i7 2600k @ 4.4
ATI 7970 3GB
16 GB Ram
running on SSD Raid 0
I was very interested to see how Titan performs since not many people has it but... wow, not even 10k with a Titan? I was expecting around 12k, either drivers for the Titan suck right now or Titan is not as powerful as people thought it was going to be, that's barely 1000 points higher than a 670 and around 500 more than a 680 (both overclocked ofcourse).
Drivers are shit in general for it atm. Only reason my score with a 670 is so high is because I played with drivers until I found the most optimized ones which were worth over 1000 extra points compared to the newest available drivers that the Titan is regulated to.
I am suprised at the 7970 scores my 7870 was scoring 7460ish i figured the 7970 guys would be more then just a few hundred ahead of that.
Decided to try beta drivers as well, 10192.
Card hit 78c doing it. CPU didn't seem to break 36c
CPU @4.6Ghz (crashed when I tried 4.7), GPU @ 1006
iSad waste of money, then again, in the range of that card, I guess it all is :/
Spoiler: show
Sold my 2 GTX580s, got a new EVGA GTX680 4GB FTW edition.
Benchmark done with no OCing
Spoiler: show
dumped my AMD 965 x4 BE / 560ti SD (scored 4400) and picked up i7 3770k/ 2x gtx 670 FTW and nearly doubled my score
benchmark ran with no OC, literally 1 hour after I rebuilt my PC
