Well I got more into sunset and ill say its an alright game. The mission structure is pretty dull. Its enjoyable but its not as amazing as i think some make it out to be. I think its mostly because for Xbox its a real different game they they usually get.

also I feel like it has a lot of promise for building on what's there if it sells enough for a sequel.
but yeah, certainly don't intend to imply it's perfect, or oversell it, I just find it really fun, and enjoyable, in a way that scratched an itch for me, and writing it off as a clone does it a tremendous disservice. your mileage may vary of course.

Nah I don't think its a clone at all and I do see promise if they made another. I think what gets me is the mission structure seems to be intentional since there is jokes made about it in game lol.

yeah the problem with that kind of meta-humor is that it's hard to walk the line between parodying poor design and falling into actually being poorly designed. for the most part though I found it fun enough to not bother me too much.

I wouldn't call the game anything amazing, but it certainly entertained me. Plus the traversal challenges were fun, I'd take a DLC of a good grip of those for sure.

HBO Go is now available on the Xbox One in the US, finally allowing you to easily switch from playing The Master Chief Collection to watching Girls. The app looks similar to what you'll already find on the Xbox 360, but it's been gently reworked to look a bit nicer here: the Xbox One app has bigger images and some new features, including the ability to pin individual TV shows to the home screen. It doesn't support Snap view, however.

Rare teases Banjo Kazooie reveal for E3 2015

• Rare created Banjo Kazooie.
• In every Banjo Kazooie game, there are musical notes hidden throughout. (Though, Beanland is a composer, so these music notes might not actually have a anything to do with that. But given the next few bullets, perhaps they do.)
• On June 5, Beanland tweeted a picture of a a broken banjo, with the text, “Oops.”
• Days later, he tweeted a short Vine off the fixed banjo, with the text, “It lives!”
• Kampfheld, a NeoGAF poster and developer verified by the forum’s moderators, posted a message in Morse Code in October, which was deciphered as “B-K E3 15,” suggesting a new Banjo Kazooie will debut at E3 2015 in June.

XBone games will be able to stream to Windows 10 & Surface Pro 3, cross-play coming, available later this year

Windows 10 users will be able to stream any Xbox One game from their console to their PC or tablet, Microsoft announced at today’s Windows 10 media briefing.

On stage, Xbox boss Phil Spencer gave a live demonstration with Forza Horizon 2. Spencer was using a Surface Pro 3 tablet to stream the game, even bringing up the Xbox One UI. The feature will be available “later this year.”

And while Xbox is coming to Windows 10 through streaming, Windows 10 is also coming to Xbox One. Microsoft will discuss this more about what this means at a later date, but says you shouldn’t expect applications like Excel on Xbox. Apps built for Windows 10 can be easily ported to Xbox One, though.

Finally, cross-platform support between Windows 10 and Xbox One games is also planned. While confirming a PC version of Fable Legends (previously announced for Xbox One), Spencer demonstrated cross-play between both versions.

Battletoads, another IP owned by Rare, has also been teased

Xbox boss Phil Spencer wore a Battletoads t-shirt during the Windows 10 media briefing earlier today.

Spencer is known for his various t-shirts. During Microsoft’s E3 press conference in 2013, he switched t-shirts periodically. He wore the logo of Capybara Games, of Press Play Studios, and of State of Decay, all of which had or saw Xbox One announcements. At E3 last year, he wore a Limbo t-shirt. The game came to Xbox One late last year.

<redacted> caught up with Spencer following today’s event to ask if the Battletoads t-shirt meant a new entry in the series was being worked on.

“I don’t think I’ve ever worn a t-shirt that’s been a complete head-fake,” Spencer said. “I wouldn’t do that.”

Chat connection status – New icons have been added to let you know the current status of a chat connection in your party. A Clock icon means the connection is being made. A Squawker Ring icon indicates the connection was successful, and actively shows who is speaking. An X icon means that networking limitations (such as a Strict NAT) are preventing the chat connection from completing for specific participants.
Improved connectivity between multiple participants with Strict or Moderate NATs – We also made some connectivity improvements to party chat in partial mesh situations when multiple participants are behind moderate or strict NATs with their home gateways/routers.
Game and party invitations – To help you more quickly know who is inviting you to what, we made improvements to game and party invitations. Now, you can see which of your friends is inviting you and what party or game the invite is for, without having to wait for the text to scroll on the notification.
Performance improvements – We also decreased the time it takes to set up person-to-person (P2P) connectivity for party chat and streamlined the retry logic for setting up party chat sessions.

They talked before the Christmas break about Screenshotting being one of the most requested features on the Xbox Voice feedback thing, but that it wouldn't arrive until after the holidays.

Wonder what our options will be for save locations. Also wonder if you can record something and then watch the recording to get a precise screenshot.
