Hmmm... Xbox live is down right now... They plan on never having outages like this for the life of the next system?

I sure do love always online connections!
http://gematsu.com/2013/04/rumor-cvg...-for-next-xboxCVG sources have backed the May 21 next Xbox reveal date previously rumored by Paul Thurrott and The Verge.
Recent rumors surrounding the console suggests it will launch with games like Ryse, a new Forza, a Pixar-like family game, and a new zombie title.
Few previous rumors have suggested a required internet connection for the console to function, however, a more recent rumor claims offline play is possible.

On Tuesday May 21st, we’ll mark the beginning of a new generation of games, TV and entertainment. On that day, we’ll be holding a special press event on the Xbox campus and we invite you to join us via the live global stream that will be available on Xbox.com, Xbox LIVE and broadcast on Spike TV if you are in the US or Canada.
On that day, we’ll share our vision for Xbox, and give you a real taste of the future. Then, 19-days later at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, we’ll continue the conversation and showcase our full lineup of blockbuster games.
We are thrilled to pull back the curtain and reveal what we’ve been working on.
A New Generation Revealed
Xbox Campus, Redmond WA
Tuesday, May 21st @ 1p ET/10a PT/17:00 GMT
hype levels zero
E3 is towering over this shit.
Beginning of the next generation of games eh? LOL
PS4 already announced the next generation of console games (and PS4 and NextBox are nearly the same spec's)... the only thing Xbox may have is the next general of console social media, TV, ect...
zzzzzzz
If this MS conference isn't at least 50% about how much more awesome XBL is on their new platform it'll be a waste of time because all the games that are coming out won't be in any demoable forms, period. Netflix, Hulu Plus and Youtube on Silver for all 360/Durango users from now on. Unlimited friend lists. PS4 streaming? pshaw look how much better XBL does it. platform support for replays in games. Store improvements, Dash improvements, faster patching, etc. this is the shit that will excite people about using the platform that doesn't lean too heavily on target renders of games we already know are coming out.
If they just retread all the ground that the Playstation Meeting tread 'oh look lots of RAM, here's some asshole from a company that makes the same game every year just talking for 10 minutes, NEW HALOZ, SOCIAL, KINECT' it'll be a fucking disaster and they'll have to spend too much of our time at E3 fixing that instead of showing games.
co-sign the above post
Honestly, it'll be the same shit they show yearly at E3. Start off with another CoD, followed by 3 hours of ZOMG NEW KINECT WILL CHANGE THE WORLD then end it with a 10 second teaser for Halo 5.
Activision won't let MS premiere their multiplatform game at a MS-only conference. Not without huge piles of money loaded into a truck and driven to their offices. MS is going to place the focus on exclusives, if they show any games at all next month.
I'm sure Peter Molyneaux will show up and promise that the newest Fable game will have a feature that summons a real life prostitute to your home to suck your dick and bring you cheeseburgers and beer.
They straight up said games will be coming at E3. They'll probably only show one or two games at the event I'd wager. Looking forward to more baseless negativity all over this thread either way though. Haters gonna hate.
fingers crossed its not an hour of kinect 2.0. And thats cool that they live-stream this shit over XBL and TV.
