Selling and recalling accounts has been happening for a long time. People who buy accounts know that it's risky.
Doesn't make the people who do any less of a moron for spending a significant amount of money on something that can be taken away from you without reason or warning.
Can I understand people spending a few hundred on a whm or fishing mule, but to spend several thousand on something you know you will have zero claim to if that ever so trustworthy person you bought it off decides he wants to play again/sell it again, you deserve to lose the money.
Except that the act of selling the account is closer to fraud than the recalling.
While the terms of service aren't law, they do clearly define your rights of ownership, you have none. You are paying for the privelidge to log into your account, SE still retains full ownership of everything on it. Selling an account isn't selling an account, its selling the login information.
Edit: I realise now this is likely to turn into Amatuer lawyer hour and regret it already.
