i found out that for me at least, I needed to do the quest Western Waypoints, Ho!. As soon as I finished this quest I got the CS from Brenton.

Any way to solo the colonization reives that are in the way for the quests Boiling Over and Veggy revolution?

I can't seem to find a safe spot to spot on BST or PUP and let the pet smack on the roots for 2 hours.

This would've probably been better if I'd done this when everyone was buying SoA, but I thought at some point in amazon.com ordering it'd ask me if I was looking for the EU version, and it did not. So now I have a US code (ultimate edition) I need to trade for an EU one (ultimate or SoA only, I got ultimate for the chocobo shirt and that code worked fine).

So i bought the expansion disc for 360 and have been playing it (registered it on SE site and everything)

I also have FFXI on pc and use the same account/character if i am away or something.

Do i need to buy a new copy of SOA for this, as it still says expansion data not installed on my pc... (i dont get that error on 360, and have been to new areas)

You don't necessarily need to purchase anything, as the SoA registration code you added to your POL account works for any platform.

You do need to install the data on your PC. I think you can still find a link to that in this thread.

There is such a sticky. I suppose that we could ask for it to be rainbow colored and accompanied by a sign that's flashing your name, but it does in fact already exist.

It's called "Links to Useful Threads," and it contains a link to this thread, which is maintained by me personally. (It's also still on the first page of the forums.) That has all of the updates up until the day one Adoulin patch. Users who have built archives containing Monday's patch have also posted in its latest pages.

Now, if you needed individual archives of every single update ever conducted, I do not believe you will find that anywhere, as no one has archived every single individual update.

So, after completing the Geomagnetron mission to enter Adoulin, I clicked on the chalice thing across from the AH in Lower Jeuno. It triggered a cutscene and my POL crashed. (I'm using Windower 4). I then disabled all my plugins, and tried again. POL crashes right after I see my character and hit the "play" button. Thinking it might be Windower's fault, I logged out and tried using the non-windower steam Vanilla version. Exact same thing. Then I checked my POL files, and found a bunch of corrupt files, which were repaired. Certain, this would fix the problem, I log back in and it's the same thing. Not sure what to do at this point. Thanks. The game was playing fine until I decided to click that thing across from the AH.

Sneak and Invis do work in reives, to my experience. As summoner, I went in, sic'd Fenrir on the roots, sneak/invis'd myself, and sat as far back towards the wall as I could. Granted, this does mean you can't afk there, which almost makes it a moot point because of how freaking long it takes for a pet/avatar/puppet to solo all three roots.

Sp I've been doing the quest "Flowers for Svenja" for a bit now. Last quest I need to complete all. I've spent a few hours now in Foret and still haven't gotten the KI. I started the quest and got the CS at the library. Easily Harvested 50+ times. Is this normal? Any other Harvesting quests or anything I got within like 1~10 trys. Just wondering if I'm just having bad luck or I missed something lol ;<

I got the KI on the second item I harvested in the zone, within my initial 15-attempts, on the same point.

I had pretty rotten luck with it, exhausted at least 4 or 5 points.

I started the quest and got the CS at the library. Easily Harvested 50+ times. Is this normal? Any other Harvesting quests or anything I got within like 1~10 trys. As stupid as this sounds, make sure you are indeed in Foret, I went to Yahse last night, harvested for 45 minutes with similar complaints until I realized it was my own dumb fault.

Try the deeper parts of Foret like all the way to the west, because I didn't get the KI until I harvested in the far west.

I had the same thought...many times. I am constantly checking my map tho as I'm hitting and looking for every harvest spot there is.

Try the deeper parts of Foret like all the way to the west, because I didn't get the KI until I harvested in the far west.

As I said up above, I'm going after every HP there is besides Shark section.

Back home from work. So going to try this again..../sigh

I did that quest last night and went 1/1. Your luck is bad.

Others beat me to the punch. Looks like it's completely random. Took me a combined total of three hours over two days and two stacks of sickles. The points were freaking impossible to find, and it took me quite a few to actually get anything, let alone the KI (which I got after about four or five regular items).
