Don't be offended by the short sentence. She was going to make a bigger post, but she had to make a sandwich. Priorities.
EDIT: Oh, she must have finished.
Ok, I'm going to give this a shot, although I'm not sure why. Maybe it's cuz I realize there was a time it took me a while to pull a Stan (or was it Kyle?) and "get it" that I'll never "get it."
Anyway, hopefully I can put this shit together.
Ok, the first, and probably most important part that's glaringly showing here:
You're presuming to know what everyone that dresses that way is thinking, and that it's a negative thought process.
It really hasn't occurred to you that a lot of people simply enjoy dressing and behaving that way? I mean, I'm sure you're aware of the stereotype of gay people (over)populating the fashion world, and hairstyles, etc. Do you honestly believe they're sitting around going "I know straight people hate it when gay people get involved in fashion, so I'm going to spend my entire life working in fashion."
So, if you can grasp that part, can you see how that extends to flamboyant fashion being popular with at least some portion of "the gay community"?
Further, take the guy that's on that picture in front of the phelps clan. The super small shorts, the "nude fashion" shirt. Would you be offended if that was, say, a hot naked chick barely covering her stuff with pieces of lettuce for a peta protest?
Can you make the connection there, or do you need it completely spelled out?
What you're not realizing (or maybe you do, but I really hope not) is that your "touchy question" is actually a statement that the way people are is bad, and further that the reason it's bad is because it's different than you.
No, that's actually a regression from where you were a couple posts before with trying to be apologetic.
Look, we get what you're trying to say. Nobody's going to deny that there are people out there that believe any attention is good attention.
What you're doing is assuming there's nobody that just plain likes it that way. It's quite offensive to anyone that does, for you to presume to know that they're just attention whores at heart when all you know about them is how they look and how they dress when they're out having fun.
Further, let's look at the eyeglasses thing.
Let's pretend, for a moment, that there is a group of people out there that think any kind of vision correction (homosexuality) is abnormal and unacceptable. However, after years and years and years of fighting for it, they finally win the right to use some vision correction, but *ONLY* glasses (civil unions), and they're not allowed to be worn in some(well, most) states, and they also mean you're not allowed some rights that you should be granted given that your vision is corrected (your relationship is "official"), like driving (say, hospital visitation restrictions), or even working (being allowed to have children).
Things like contacts? And lasik surgery? I.E. being indistinguishable from "normal" vision people (legal marriage)... completely out of the question.
And oh btw, a large portion of the country continues to teach their children that people with bad vision are a horrible, unnatural "thing" that can be "fixed" by praying really hard, and maybe whipping yourself when the vision gets really blurry. But that giving them glasses and contacts and treating them like everybody else would literally doom you to eternity in hell.
You know what? At some point there, somebody is going to have to stand up for the people that need glasses and contacts and shit. It's absolutely absurd for them to be denied their natural human rights because they're different than (insert X standard here).
And you know what else? At some point, those people are going to have to get some attention, or else nothing is ever going to happen.
Do you really want to be that guy saying they should just shut up and deal with it?
I am the master of kitchen multi-tasking
yes because eyesight is hereditary and you should inform your partner if you got lasik because they should know of your poor genes.
There are a lot of guys who are married that will take that dick ramming, actually, and do you know why? It's a multiple-choice question. Potential answers: A: They're bisexual, B: They're bored, or C: They're forced to pretend they're straight in their day-to-day because assholes like you don't believe they can be open about their orientation, and take dick in the back of a bar before going home to the wife they don't love.
Also, I missed this originally:
Let's add to that your most recent statement:Originally Posted by Harajuku

Spoiler: show
Oops! I called them a "person." I meant "weirdo," sorry. Honest mistake.
I like how he says gays shouldn't get offended when called a fag or any of that stuff because y'know.. it's probably just a joke.
but when gays fuck with him and try to turn him gay. oh man. SERIOUS BUSINESS! He takes great offense!
You know when a gay tries to make you gay? (which, shouldn't piss you off because you're straight and will never be gay, unless you're afraid they'll really make you gay. At which point, means you're an idiot) How it makes you really uncomfortable, irritated and angry? Now you know how the gays feel when we're treated as second class citizens on a daily basis/around the world/in the media. Do you got empathy, yet?
also, drag queens are some of the best entertainers ever. Jus sayin'
Or he's a gigantic pussy, as established, and let the guy keep hitting on him until he started crying, at which point they felt bad and walked away.
Speaking of, it's time for me to go home. I promise to be as gay as possible throughout the car ride. Bye for now, homophobic panty-waste! It's been real.
hahaha
