Btw; apparently it can get resisted. It did just now. when it gets resisted, it simply does no damage at all. So it's either full damage, or no damage. S'probably why I didn't notice it before, I have misses filtered out.
It seems to be affected by magic attack bonus, but it's hard to judge since it does such different damage and I can't figure out what causes it. And I don't think it's because of magic defense or physical defense, I was killing the same mob in Abyssea for time extensions, and sometimes it did anywhere between 400 and 1300 damage to all enemies in range, and always the same damage to all of them (or at least withing a reasonable margin, +/-5 if I remember correctly). Was thinking that maybe it depends on the type of luopan you have up, but it seemed equally random amongst all of them.
So then I thought maybe it's based on the time it has been up, but no. Even then I didn't have any success. The only thing I can think of atm is if it's based on the amount of damage it takes from AoE attacks. Might be why it seemed to do more damage if it stayed up for longer originally, as it's more likely it's taken damage then.
Edit: I just had one that missed all enemies, so maybe that's why it seem so random. Maybe it doesn't cound damage per enemy individually, but for all of them together before they even get hit. So if it's a 1/4 resist, all of them will 1/4 resist. And if it does full damage, all of them take full damage. Question then, is if it matters at all what enemy it is, or if it just rolls a random number and deals that damage independently of enemy stats - or maybe it rolls the damage based on the "target enemy", and deals equal damage to all from that?
Either way, it's a strange ability.

I asked my LSmate, Reyo, to give me a few numbers on the Geo (Luopan) spells after he capped his skill.
Atk: 371 > 417 w/ Luopan > 428 w/ Ecliptic Attrition (12.5% boost > 15.625% boost), JA increase = +25% to effect (12.5 * 1.25)
Def: 353 > 413 w/ Luopan > 444 w/ Blaze of Glory (17.0% boost > 25.8% boost), JA increase = +50%? to effect (seems like there may be rounding issues)
Geo-Refresh: 5mp/tic
Geo-Regen: 30hp/tic, 37hp/tic with Ecliptic Attrition (matches 25% boost)

Capped skill:
Luopan HP = ~1380HP (I cast 50 AOE nukes and worked out % dmg done, multiplied it out to get 100%. Was accurate for all within 30HP)
Luopans have no elemental alignment (Aeroga was doing 94dmg regardless of luopan element, also tested with other elements to be certain)
Concentric Pulse... Made a table here of damage (if other people can test when they're capped it would be great, it takes forever lol) C.P. I've read a few things that other people have been saying in the tread (Uzor I think) about it doing 1.2k+~ which wouldn't match up to what I've got wrote down so far. Edit: yeah, this is bullshit unfortunately... just did 1382 on a Goblin Pathfinder and his Damselfly in Batallia Downs~
Dematerialize is complete damage shield - neither magic, physical or DOT AOE would harm.
Poison = 30HP/tick
Slow = 10%
Paralyze = 10%~ activation rate (I cast 100 spells back to back, 9 were paralyzed)
Indi-Frailty defense down = 13%
Geo-Frailty defense down = 13%
Geo-Frailty + Ecliptic Attrition = 15.8%
Geo-Frailty + Blaze of Glory = 18.8%
Geo-Frailty + Ecliptic Attrition + Blaze of Glory = 22%
Attack Bonus = 12.5%
Defense Bonus = 17%

Interesting results. Do you think stats such as MAB and INT will increase damage output from CP? Or is CP wholly based on the Luopan's HP%?
Seems that no GEO stat effects the Luopan, so I'm assuming that nothing we have right now will effect the damage produced by CP~ I was able to calculate the expected damage of CP while waiting on the recast once I had a few results and it was rather accurate.
