    Well just ran out and did a quick test with Indi-Paralyze and you can indeed debuff an Ice Elemental with it.

    So realistically it is bringing -13% Defense for the whole alliance and +5 MP/Tick Refresh to a mage party?

    The stacking potential of Defense Down is often overlooked, but with current sources you can get reliably get -63~-71% Defense Down (Angon, Box Step, Dia III, Light Shot, Frailty). This would mean melee need about 0.65~0.8 Ratio base in order to cap, which many melee have even when eating Pizza (which would also solve any Acc problems they might have). Then you would only benefit from Haste (Double March + Haste) and miscellaneous buffs (Etudes, Fighter/Rogue/Samurai Rolls, various defensive buffs like Schzero, Minne, Regen, etc.)

    Blaze of Glory is a 10min recast~ Ecliptic Attrition is 5min. You can make your luopan invulnerable for 1min w/ Dematerialize, and then use Life Cycle to help its HP survive its natural health decay. Would be viable for zergs etc since generally since over 1min fighting and you're boned.

    How fast do your Luopans decay at 99 with capped skill? Also, are they still 6' AoE?

    Okay, so that would be ~20 HP/tick damage taken for them. You can see how Luopans are well designed for Reives and supertanking things. It's unfortunate that Geo gets crap Bayld from Reives.

    So Ecliptic Attrition looks like ~+20% and Blaze of Glory looks like ~+40%. Do they give corresponding increases in HP consumed? If you want your defense down numbers to be more exact, you would have to start representing them as /256 instead of a %.

    Attrition decreases the Luopans time span from 210 (70 ticks) to 170 (57 ticks)~ 20% increase in HP consumed (20 up to 24)

    How about Bolster's effects? Could be important for ADL fights and all.

    Regardless, I definitely foresee "Enhance __ spells" on our AF or relic to make these more powerful.

    I actually completely forgot about Bolster... I'm gonna go eat then I'll do some more testing later on. If anyone is on Asura and wants to help in a few hours lemme know!


    Ecliptic Attrition and Blaze of Glory dont work with Bloster so it is -25% defense~ (atleast with Frailty)

    Bolster + Geo-Frailty
    (151/202)*256 = -64.6/256
    (222/297)*256 = -64.6/256

    Not really... it's an ability so it would make sense that it would be classed as a ruby kill rather than magic. It doesn't answer anything to do w/ the dmg decreasing as the HP of the luopan decreases. It'll have a formula to it, it's just finding out what it is. For some reason the results I got in Brenner didn't ring true outside.

    In other news~ Frailty does stack with Angon (like all other GEO debuffs/buffs~)

    This could be Ruby. Thinking of BST pet TP moves in Dynamis proc as WS.

    the question is if the GEO spells stack with all of the defense down moves like Angon, box step, Dia III, light shot, frailty etc. or it overwrites one of them

    this was more intended for Alliance fights, 1 GEO 1 DNC 1 RDM 1 DRG 1 COR. Shouldnt be hard to implement 4 of them in an ally setup (- the DNC one) especially since they take different roles in alliance setups. Hell most allys allready have RDM DRG(mostly mythic) COR in their setups.

    It stacks with all of it. Sylow/Asymptotic already posted testing to this effect. All of the Geo buffs seem to be unique statuses.

    SE did mention something about adding icons in for GEO on the next update on the release info on the forums.


    Cardinal Chant:

    Distance from mob plays no part in potency, can cast from any direction at max distance and still get the same buff bonus as being 2' away from a mob.

    True W (MAB): 12.5+ MAB~
    True W (MAB) + Collimated Fervor: 20+ MAB (60% MAB increase from JA (154/256))
    True NW: (50% MAB/50% Cast Time): 6.3+ MAB~

    Will test Fervor more to confirm, but from MAB tests it played out~


    As you move round the compass the potency will increase one boost, and decrease the other. Will have to test further to see if it has cut off points for each %~
