Jumped back on RUN main

Skill for both sword and GS were 82 so that is why I didn't see a difference in my first test.

FLOOR(82 *.748) = 61

Club is 72
Expected DMG is 53
Test resulted in 27 so I thought it was a possible resist
Tested again got 54
Changed multiplier to 0.75 which fits both

Also Lunges can be resisted.

Can anyone test these numbers with a single Rune? Floor(Skill*0.75)

Also, just messing around with values, I am thinking that each time you are able to store an extra Rune, the multiplier increases and then it is multiplied by the amount of runes you have stored.

Multiplier
1 Rune = 0.75
2 Runes = 1.0
3 Runes = 1.25

So it ends up as Floor(Skill*Multiplier)*Number of runes

If in the JP video stream of Adoulin, the taru RUN had 424 skill and had 3 runes up and 3 runes indicate a 1.25 bonus

(424*1.25)*3 = 1590

Lets just say he also had +10 MAB in earrings on or if the AF increases Lunge Damage by 10%

1590*1.10 = 1749 dmg Lunge which is what the taru did in the videos. I am not saying this is fact but it could be possible lol.

So haven't really done real testing on it but what I've seen lvling up rune enpsell dmg is a little odd. It appears to range somewhat but I haven't seen what I'd say was definitely a resist but low lvl and it ranges a bit making it hard to tell. Mdt and sdt lower dmg. But regular mob resistance doesn't seem to. So like enwater works great on crabs (at least until they bubble curtain lol) but half dmg on leeches/fish

Interesting.. I wonder what WSes RUN has under axe and gaxe. Since it's on Upheveal and Ruinator. Guess it won't matter much since Resolution will probably be the best for it.

Ruinator and /nin might have been the way to go if it had better axe selection lol. A run/sams resolution is going to be pretty attack starved compared to a drk or war. Similar to what's wrong with drg, except worse, since resolution has an attack penality, run doesn't have 22 attack from traits, and 'leather' ws options seem to have way less attack.

Pretty much. Drakesbane also crits, which helps it a little. Dervish sword to the rescue!

Can Lunge stack with a WS?

Lunge is a standalone attack, so no, it can't.

Also, swordplay isn't reset by crits, or at least the ja itself isn't cancelled, maybe the bonus is.

That's what I had figured, right after I posted the question. I literally /facepalm'd myself at work. Thanks anyhow! Still want to try RUN when I get home from work.

I know it may be tough to test, as the only thing I can think of is Moldy Earring which is +5. I'm no math guru(I fucking hate math) but can the calculation be figured out?

RUN is on a lot of mage gear, including stuff like Teal. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out once you have access to a few pieces.

MAB is always percent based and is highly predictable.

Hmph, Lunge isn't working for me. I put a rune up, select Effusion -> Lunge -> target, and nothing happens. Is that a bug, or I am doing something embarrasingly wrong?

Tried with different runes, tried without (makes no sense but...), tried in macro, tried from menu... I'm puzzled.
