Just for the record, did two more assignments today (or it was three?), and Brennon was still babbling about doing stuff so I became famous. Then, just after turning in the last assignment and checking I didn't have CS, I did the last CS of Vegetable Vegetable Revolution, returned and... CS! That points clearly to the 3 coalition leaders quests as additional requirements.

Thank god Don't Ever Leaf me wasn't a requirement. Still nothing in over 700 casts.

I honestly had a >50% bite rate on it (when it wasn't already up) and I fished one up before I flagged the quest. There's something that you're doing wrong and I don't know what it is.

i got it on my first try. go fish at the River Mouth.
for what its worth, i was using minnow and composite rod. fishing skill 2.

also, make sure you speak to the NPC who said he saw the leafkin in Foret, to be safe.

Done over twenty times now. I'll try a minnow, but I've tried so many combinations I've seen people next to me use and be fine with.

refer to my post above, my mule and i havent turn in the quest for Vegetable Vegetable Revolution, and only just started Raptor Rapture and still got mission on my 50th tag

also wat time did u visit NPC, that can also be a factor, report everything to be clear

It was around 4 am ingame iirc. Something about Vegetable Vegetable Revolution had to trigger the CS, and I don't think it's Adoulin reputation because I was sitting at 3 for a long time.

You can sneak fish the monsters and then you don't have to kill them. I noticed that I couldn't fish the Orobon up twice. It's possible that someone is cockblocking your server by sneakfishing the Orobon up at an obscure beach. Maybe look for whoever is selling a lot of Mussels?

just took the SS, MAYBE u have to flag the 3 coalition quest or maybe they dont even matter idk.... 1 thing for certain is 50 tags, friend just got it as well on the 1 tag assignment he just did, vanadiel time 11:something

prolly time dont matter as well... but seeing how Taim Meich turn in the quest, which i didnt even complete, and CS triggers actually leads to fame.

and yes everyone is stuck at fame 3 for long time, but at the same time, there are quests(Fertile Ground for 1) that i couldnt take on level 3 as well and after a quest or 2, even at same level 3 fame, i managed to get after

btw even after completing everything, anyone will still be fame 3, so there prolly is a high-low end for each fame lvl

Some of the shores you can fish up orobons for another quest. fyi tip can just release any catches that end in a "!" and avoid the whole monster catching in the first place.

Was at 49 tags, couldn't flag; did my 50th, got CS from Brenton.

I had done 46 tags as of this morning. Did 3 and then 1 and got the mission. I've done maybe 8 quests. It has to be the 50 tags. In a week when that is absolutely confirmed we can go back to this thread and laugh at everyone who doesn't know how to count. Will be good times.

i feel bad for the people that bought all those quest items off AH for like 200k+ each, like those twith wings/oozes etc in a vain attempt to spur the mission line through fame. Unless fame becomes relevant later for some kind of scroll quest/tuning fork, yall just wasted tons of gil
