I fiddled around in Salvage 1 and really liked it TBH, I can notice the increased damage i was doing. Laid out a 5,300 Mercy Stroke (unstacked) on one of the Wamouracampa in Bhaflau Remnants. reeks of double damage and lol75 content but still caught me off guard.
Still, Whole night I was rather impressed with the difference in damage a noticed. No parses, Just eyeballed, But I felt stronger. Looking forward to playing on THF a bit more. P.S What was the old 1handed Cap?
In old salvage I feel I'm doing more damage on MNK and THF with 660/620 attack
Well, tried salvage 2 last night. Did Silver Sea II trio box MNK/THF(TH for MBx2), SCH/WHM(friend doesn't have his RDM sub leveled) and WHM/RDM. Noticed an increase in dmg taken on my MNK. Probably due to lack of gear on first few floors. Used a rabbit pie and verything went much smoother, especially with counter stance.
In Bhaflau II, everything seemed as it was pre update. Setup was MNK/war thf/war sch/rdm. Cerberus didn't hit much harder nor anything else there. Didn't ride berserk like normally however and used yellow curry instead of pies.
Be careful what you ask for....
They adjust DD emnity, but did they mention anything about adjusting support job emnity? My rdm holds hate better than some pld just casting enhancing buffs.
Thaumas/mandau/af3/etc apparently
Probably Khepri, skadi +1, idk. Thaumas/af3 is basically baseline nowadays, as is at least one relic

I just did the reive mithra formor quest, got her down to about 40% and another group came and joined for clear; the SMN cast garuda and used hastga and pulled hate off of me lol. The NIN started to melee and pulled hate away after a little trouble, I then toss a nuke and it barely moves.
Wtf?
Peronsally I think they adjusted DD enmity without touching mage enmity. Earlier in the week my stoneskin was taking hate off a paladin's provoke.
It's for RUN/RDM tanking, obviously. This is SE's way of shitting on lolmelee RDMs.
I kinda suspect that they also changed the Enmity related to pulling.
So is rdm(/run?) tanking viable again?
I think some of the new stuff just has funky enmity mechanics.
Like we were doing Umbrils as DRK + WHM and it seemed to run over to the WHM as soon as they cast Haste on me even if I'd just WS'ed off a fresh pull. It would then come back to me if I did an action on it. Granted this was usually stun out of laziness so could be because of stun's enmity.
I'm not sure if the pulling enmity was effected by +/- enmity before but aside from that I'm still getting 200 ce from pulls. That said I've now iced weird stuff happening sometimes during my enmity testing. Like I've had people not on the hate list at all pull hate... then after doing lots of self only stuff for hate unable to get it back.... ie clearly not on the hate list. Also tested that at the very least cures for 0, flash, stun, bind, blind, threnodies, paeons, and low lvl dmg have unchanged CE and look like same VE. That said I did this all on low lvl stuff. New stuff may have weird hate mechanics or messing with dmg enmity of higher lvls might have messed with other stuff. Various buffs seemed right to. I suspect also the dmg dealt enmity may be far more effective then we thought
To me, it feels like they adjusted the enmity based on dealing damage, but totally forgot to adjust the enmity of actions such as JA's and Spells. BST's and SMN's are pretty screwed right now. Hell, I could pull hate off falcor on BST/DNC without touching the mob just by doing drain samba.
Wyvern is pulling hate easily which is weird/annoying when soloing or lowmanning on DRG. Seems like player VE/CE decreases more rapidly than before from being hit/over time but they forgot to change it for pets. As soon as I take 2-3 hits, my Wyvern has hate, it's annoying.
