Can someone give me heads up as to what the body parts actually do? I know that the body effects the size of the map and the objectives but what do the heads and legs do? Iv done 2 runs so far and seen the Katana, Gun, GAxe and axe and only ghastly stones NQ version.
short of sounding lazy, I'd rather not hunt though 19 pages.
Is 3boxing Skirmish feasible? What kind of mob levels are you looking at (either area)? From what I've read on wiki, nothing seems to modify mob difficulty at all. Torso 4 is 80 mobs in 60 minutes, so thats like 30 seconds per kill, factoring in running around. Am I to presume these are like EM mobs at best?
Or is 3boxing a primary objective almost impossible?
The mobs are like EM/T equivalent stat wise except they have virtually no HP. Like potentially 1 WS will mostly kill them.
There are some dickish mobs in there though like Umbrils.
Not sure what prices are like on your server but on Asura the last time I checked (like 1-2 weeks ago), you could pick up a I-I-I set for like 100-150k. So it wouldn't really hurt to try.

The plus side is you don't have to full clear to get a weapon. It seems to turn up in the pool before that point so you might not have to clear to get your weapon.
Everything in Skirmish is VT. The mobs in Cirdas have (fairly significantly) reduced HP to compensate for their quantity, but they are still VT (you can check them, they are not ITG). You do have to clear to get weapons. Information about the rewards you get are just put there to taunt you with potential prizes; you don't get anything until you complete the primary objective and use your Fenestral Key (which stops you from completing the secondary objective, if you plan to continue). Using the key makes the weapons drop into the pool and personal crate with the other rewards appear at your feet.
Most Rala NMs are just like normal NMs (lot of HP, slightly higher stats, whatever), but some are particular dicks - the Slime is stupid because of the overpowered TP moves (but only appears on T5 body runs), the frog has 100+/tick En-poison effect which procs very frequently, and the Spider can cast earth spells including Break.
All of this info is (or should be) on BG Wiki, btw, except monster level which I'm adding now.
Just did my first Skirmish today (Rala I), and it's really easy. We went as 5 (SAM PUP BLU WHM badly dualboxed BRD) and even running pretty aimlessly and killing many mobs that we could have easily avoided, we did 7/o NMs, one short of goal 2.
The only semi-dangerous one is the frog, but after killing the SAM thanks to fairly strong hits and enpoison, my RNG automaton tanked and killed it basically itself alone. With Alternator, the NM had floored acc on Sancho.
did a I-I-I set in Cirdas, got through 38/50 mobs. Without a map that shits brutal as all fuck, probably spent 5 minutes of that running around. Looks like I'm going to have to grab some friends. Umbrils are still a fucking pain in the ass.
I mapped out Cirdas I somewhere, I'll edit it onto the wiki. Never mapped out the higher tier stuff because Delve obviously took over everything and nobody was really giving any more info about Skirmish (and I haven't done any more runs myself).

In Rala, Sewer Tarchek (Eft) Takes considerably more Magic Damage, Or at least, Drain/Thunder V Damage. my PUP BLM Frame was doing ~4,600 Thunder V's when normally they were around 1,600 on the NMs there. Definitely a unique behavior.
Can anybody provide a list of augmentations that have been confirmed/seen on the Axe? Faizeer.
I got just a +13 damage with a +2 stone, makes me wonder if I've been unlucky, lucky, or average.
With this kind of stats I think the Colkhab Axe might be a better offhand... and with the new KI reduction it might be doable to farm Colkhab until you get the axe.
KA has 17 DMG and +3 STR on hers. I believe people have said it can get into triple digit DMG though so can at least go to +19.
Katana + Ghastly+1 gave me DMG +19 STR+10 DEX+1
What does it take to get the thing that gives bayld as an option? Nothing but entering? Could I enter a 1-1-1, get Bayld and just warp?
When in a skirmish, find the Noetic Ascension. These give you a number of choices from bayld to buffs or even a map of the area. Anybody who is farming bayld by a 1-1-1 run will just choose bayld as the reward. Faithful Legs I gives only 1 Noetic Ascension - higher tiers make more Noetic Ascensions pop, but as far as I know you can only choose Bayld once anyway. No need to warp, just finish the run and reap the rewards (drops like scrolls, weapons, and ghastly stones to augment the weapons).
I'm just thinking it would be a more efficient bayld farming method than reives if I take my 3 chars in and get bayld and just leave cus I'm not sure if I could clear the zone solo
